For millions of people in this country, CID has been the best detective series.
CID has been a leading crime detective show since 16 years. It has retained to top up on sonyTV for its originality and unique stories with best investigation and team spirit.
Our show CID has already got the wonderful title of the longest running crime show in Indian television history along with the title of completing 1000 episodes.
CID has shown us different colours : Invstigation, Patriotism, care, team spirit, selfless love(among cops risking life for their teamates), trust and entertainment.
Its not an easy task for sure. It needs a combined effort of all the Cast & Crew.
But in the coming day's the ongoing CID cases are being disliked due to some of tracks or some of little things which are being put forward before us.
"CID top's the TRP chart...No 1 show on channel" are one of the blessed topics being opened in earlier days until late 2012, if i am not mistaken.
CID's TRP needs to be increased. CID's Trp one's used to be in 7-10 which has now decreased to 3-4 list.
Let us discuss about how CID Show- CV's or SonyTv, FW can try to keep to fans expectations and get the show back to its earlier glory.
so here are a few of questions which we all need to answer:

1. What is the basic idea behind CID that made you watch this show and continue to watch it till now?
2. What according to you is the best way for CID to increase its TRP?
3. What kind of light's moments shared by cops are your favorites? (Give a simple example supporting the answer)
4. what kind of episodes are most appreciable(Series, centrics, normal investigative story etc)?
5. Isnt it a very appreciable effort from CID's side in putting forward many of epsidoes portraying women power or centrics? what are more changes that you suggest in this side for such cases?
(Examples of recent ones: Box mein hatya, Daimond robbery, naari suraksha etc)
6. What can CID do to improve its quality of episodes as a popular crime show?
7. Basicaly, if you were given a chance to improve CID's quality or given an opportunity to enter CID's FW or channel team..
what would be the changes or what would be the things you would like to do to improve CID's TRP and maintaining the taste of its die hard fan follower's since 17 years?

Ans : I still watch CID just to see my favourites..
2. What according to you is the best way for CID to increase its TRP?

Ans: 1.I think too much crowding is one of the reason of CID's TRP drop so FW should remove new cops from the team..
2.Interesting Trio or Duo centric cases needed.
3.They should stop showing unneccessary Freddy-Pankaj scenes which is a complete time watse and sometimes forces the viewers to change the channel..🤢
4.Proper promotion is needed...not only in sony tv and its sister channel bt also on various news channels like Star plus and Life ok show the promos of their shows on news channels..

3. What kind of light's moments shared by cops are your favorites? (Give a simple example supporting the answer)

Ans :Duo and Trio moments with freddy sir are my favs...

4. what kind of episodes are most appreciable(Series, centrics, normal investigative story etc)?

Ans:I like both officer centrics episodes and normal investigative stories but the content should be interesting

5. Isnt it a very appreciable effort from CID's side in putting forward many of epsidoes portraying women power or centrics? what are more changes that you suggest in this side for such cases?

Ans: yes I appreciate this effort of CID...but I want to see a dabangg and smart female senior Inspector in the team ...all the Snr.Inspectors in CID are male and thts nt fair ...

6. What can CID do to improve its quality of episodes as a popular crime show?

Ans :first I would suggest FW to sit and watch all the golden era epis one by one(1998-2007).I think they forgot those epis...It'll help them a lot to spot the difference between recent epis and those epis...
secondly they should concentrate more on Investigation instead of showing unwanted AT-DS stuff and Freddy-pankaj's comedy..

7. Basicaly, if you were given a chance to improve CID's quality or given an opportunity to enter CID's FW or channel team..
what would be the changes or what would be the things you would like to do to improve CID's TRP and maintaining the taste of its die hard fan follower's since 17 years?
Ans :1.First off all I would like to remove all the new cops from the team and end AT-DS track..😈
2.In every episode Trio will go together for investigation
3. there'll be some light and sweet moments of Trio ,duo and others in every episode😳
4. dhamakedar Action and stunts scenes will also be there...

5.if I get a chance to enter CID's FW or channel team I would love to fullfill my one of my wish of seeing a female Snr.Inspector in the team...😆hehe...don't worry I'll select a very strong and popular actress apt for tht role and will also help to increase CID's TRP 😉

My basic reason is the team. The stories nowadays aren't really so great to keep me hooked. For that I have American TV show, CSI, which CID does pick up stories from now and then. Anyways for me it's really the team. I've been watching CID for about 10 years now. The first few years it was on and off because it was really when I was in India for 2 month vacations that I would watch, but around 2006 or so it became a regular thing for me because I could relate to the team. Now though even that seems a bit hard because they've completely changed the characterizations to such an extent that I can't believe it's the same team I used to watch previously.

2. What according to you is the best way for CID to increase its TRP?

Go back and look at some of CID classic episodes from the beginning to about 2007, 2008. Bring those type of episodes back.
If you're going to show a personal story or track on a cop, try and make it mature and believable, and actually carry it through. I don't want an episode where Purvi's brother suddenly turns up as a culprit and 10 episodes later Purvi says that she's an orphan. (That's just an example.)

3. What kind of light's moments shared by cops are your favorites? (Give a simple example supporting the answer)

Teasing about something a cop said (for example teasing Freddy about his wife, but only coming from the trio)
Pranks being played on each other (like when Vivek gave that bouquet to Freddy and in turn the duo got pranked as well)
Celebrations of any kind, whether it be a cop's birthday, their parents' anniversary, or something else like that

4. what kind of episodes are most appreciable(Series, centrics, normal investigative story etc)?

Normal investigative stories. The centrics often end up concentrating on everything but what it was supposed to revolve around and the series usually start well, but end up confusing me to no end.

Yes it is but I wish they would do it more often in regular episodes as well. Instead of having Purvi or Shreya chase after and slap just the female culprits, why not add in an action sequence between them and a male culprit once in a while? Or have the male cops question a female culprit? Bring them to equal levels. Why use females for females and males for males?

Already answered above.

what would be the changes or what would be the things you would like to do to improve CID's TRP and maintaining the taste of its die hard fan follower's since 17 years?

Bring back something along the classic lines
Add a nice personal touch to each cop's life that comes for maybe 2 or 3 minutes in each or every few episodes
A few officer-centric episodes a year
Maybe one series, but well-planned and written
Bring back old cops for an episode or two
Lower the number of movie promotions or make them better integrated
Keep personal stories mature and not something that would make a viewer cringe when it comes up
Take an actor's preference into account
Listen to the viewers/open up a line of communication where viewers can send in their suggestions for episode ideas, improvements, concerns, or simply commending the great work

Stop all romance in CID. You can't handle it. Or get better writers who can handle these types of things.

well, suggestion seems like stop this new dosage of torture for your fans if you want to sustain in long run and provide us with proper crime stories with nil romance tracks and stop bringing in new cops or say copy cats.
