In a bold statement to the media, actor Shahid Kapoor has slammed the superstars and producers of the industry for fudging box office collections of their films.
Shahid went on to say that one of the benefits of being a producer is to fudge collections of their own films, something that Salman doesn't need to do because his films do so well at the box office.
"Have you seen the business Salman's films do? He doesn't have to fudge figures. Not everybody does it, but a lot of people do. I have never fudged my figures even now when people have asked me to. Why do it? No point, people know, industry knows, you know. Eventually, everybody gets to know, it's very embarrassing"
Shahid's last release Haider' has collected Rs 58.3 crore (official figure) at the domestic box office.
