With regards to Imtiaz Ali'sTamasha clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Baajirao Mastaani during Christmas 2015, Sajid said, "We announced long time back. They have started now. But I think Christmas can take two films."

Absolutely. About time we end this Aamir monopoly.

Welcome and Taare Zameen Par released on the same day, and both were completely different films yet both did really well.

Feel bad for Deepika though. No actor likes it when their films release around the same time, and in this case it's worse cos it's on the same day.

This would be fine if both films didn't have the same heroine (Deepika). Sajid knows that the BM team announced the date first yet he's saying that they announced it after him. Does he expect Deepika to promote both films at the same time? How considerate 😳

Well one film will have to shift. BM won't be getting a solo release if it stays on Christmas though..I think Aamir will be ready with his next, and the is Raaes. SLB-RS ain't a threat to anyone.

Yeah I want more movies releasing together & hopefully the best one wins. Too much focus on opening weekend at the moment is ruining quality. But what abt the heroine?? How will she promote both movies?😕

I hope this is publicity tactics. Tamasha can do 150 cr+ if its good and that's impossible with screens shared. Holidays don't compensate lesser screens especially when both movies should normally have 3000+ prints. BM has high budget so lose-lose situation for both.

Anyways, UTV should decide the release date if they have bought Tamsaha not Sajid. They already have JJ on Aug 28 and RK said he has two releases in 2015(BV and JJ).
