They should shame Ashok and Param in public.Take the issue to their mothers.
In our society the victim is shamed while it should be the other way around.
our films, literature.. television are a reflection of our attitude as well as a weapon to bring forth change.
It has to be like a carpet bombing campaign.

I know many on get upset when televison indicates "wearing short dresses could make you a target for abuse"

We throw a fit and "DEMAND" to wear short dresses. It wont work in a country like India.
You see women in bikinis and beaches at swimming pools, oh heck in summers I see women in bikinis and a towel in stores, if they quickly run out to gerab something before they head to the beach

NOT A SECOND GLANCE👏👏

You CANNOT do that in India. Sure, you can throw a fit and demand to wear it... but chances are someone is going to cross the line.

"Ive lived over seas, I am "MODERN" I have a great body...I am going to wear it but I dont want any one to look at me or molest me"
WILL NOT WORK.

Forcing India to turn into America overnight will not work.
Law enforcement will be the first in line to abuse you, try complaining to a cop in Delhi, especially around the University area. They will take a "good look" at you and shrug it off "Ghar se dhang ke kapde pehankar niklo" they will say

Sure, go ahead do a dharna, take out a procession, quit college and dedicate yourself to the cause of shorts or short skirts...chnage wont come in the three years you are enrolled in...😉

I know of MANY American Dads that are super protective of their daughters, wont let them wear shorts... or certain kinds of blouses... no dating allowed... etc.

Indian Dads are not backward or crazy... 😃

No matter where we live whether it is in India or in any other country there will always be crazies roaming around looking for their prey. No matter how strong you are physically and mentally it does leave an emotional scar when you undergo the trauma in the hands of those vultures. I loved the fact that they are showing the emotional toll that has taken on Ishita after she was harassed so badly by a group of men. The last time when Param tried to molest her they did not explore the possibility of her being affected emotionally. In the show, the thing that I like to see is that eventhough it is not Ishita's fault that she was stuck at a wrong place she should stand up for herself and report those morons to the police and make sure justice is served for all the other girls who have been the victims of perverts like Param.

The other day I was at the groecry store in the afternoon and a creepy guy was following me around all through out the store and mind you this is in broad daylight and there was also two security guards in the store one up front and one at the back and there were surveillance cameras and all that shebang. Yet, there was fear growing inside me and I picked up speed and got my items checked out and left as fast as I could. I was not going to take any chances eventhough the environment was more than secure.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT PRIYE

This is exactly what I said moments ago to Veritas... COUNTRY does not matter... there are idiots everywhere... fathers of daughters will be paranoid no matter what

I know my neighborhood so I can walk out at midnight

I would not dare do it if we were visiting another city for vacation.
the biggest difference being LAW ENFORCEMENT in the country I live is honest ethical and disciplined. I cannot say that confidentkly about Delhi cops, unless I am related to the ACP or DCP...

Its all about WHO you know in Delhi...

We will never know what really happened to SUNANDA PUSHKAR😲

I am just a nobody... I NEED to watch my back😭😭
