Do you all remember the "vachan" thing? I hope the CVs remember too. And the "deal seal"... Ishita will definitely say "Deal seal ki thi. Aur ab aap peeche hat rahe ho. NOt fair. Muhe vachan do aap mera sath kabhi nahin chodenge"... Ishita might end up saying something similar once she realises Raman's intentions.

Just hope cvs redeem the story on time. Ya as u said v better wait for the scenes to air, sometimes it's so depressing in the forum, Nishas post 2day is one positive post.

Nisha: I m great fan of you along with few others on the forum. We think alike n big fan of Raman/Karan so I more so enjoy your post. Husbands like his nature bring spice to the married life. I do not like chocolate heroes but like rough n tough like him. It's great pride for wife to mold them. Thanks for writing n u r so quick in your post. I wish I could write as good as u all do.

I m just worried that Ishita will make him remarry Shagun for sake of Adi n Raman will not be able to go against her wish. For me that will be the end of YHM. I watch this serial just of DivAn.

I cannot agree more on your comments in yesterday's post 'for u only' about traffic police. I had smile on my face as I am awe of traffic police. God forbid, if a cop's car is behind me how much courageous I pretend I m shivering as if he is going to pull me over n give a tkt.

Please keep writing as somebody is waiting to read u. Have great day!

Hey Meghz
Totally understand your POV. Welcome it and appreciate it
Unfortunately Nirbhaya has not brought lasting change
Neither has Kejriwal
Every year when I go to Delhi and walk out of a Metro Station at 10 PM on cold foggy nights dont feel magically stronger because of Nirbhaya or Modi or Kejriwal

Nope

Neither do the autowallahs or cops or the spoilt brats belonging to the wealthy elite families shiver in their pants because of rabble rousing happening on the Internet

Girls working in call centers in Gurgaon continue to be molested
Law enforcement inactio. Still continues to be reprehensible

Yes but ignoring is a way to stop, I don't think so. N also People r such cowards can't beat up when they clearly see Autorickshaw wallas or Men on streets Molesting girls or passing off lewd comments etc?

I don't think such things should really be taken Lightly n also attitude of policemen towards this is sometimes appalling but that should not stop people from doing what is necessary to teach such goons a lesson. Not all policemen are like that, some of them r truly brave and upright.

Somewhere I think after Nirbhaya case a lot of women are coming upfront and registering such incidents, there r lot of things happening - media exposure etc, such incidents will not stop completely but surely reporting such incidents will instill some fear in a criminal's mind especially if they come from weaker sections of society.

But if u challenge in Court u can bring down Rich and famous people too- Jessica Lal case. (obviously she too was a celebrity on social circuit is a different issue, but the politician in that case used up every resources possible.)

Obviously in both the cases above, Nirbhaya will not b back nor Jessica n somewhere complete justice is not served too , but their cases gives hopes to many thousands of victims and their family members who have gone through similar trauma.

These days even parents r helping in registering cases etc - earlier the family wud disown their own daughters and target the victim(girl) but now at least Parents and people in the society are showing some sympathy towards women.

Law is changing, it will take a while may be a 100 years but still its worth a fight.

U pointed out a very strong opinion that Fighting against crimes sounds good on Internet forums n in real life people look out for their safety first etc. Its ur opinion n I completely respect that but m sorry I disagree, Social media has helped many people get justice too eg- Nirbhaya case, jessica lal case etc. I am of the opinion that one must fight against crimes otherwise criminals will get an excuse n also confidence that there is nobody is there to challenge them in court of law hence they can get away with everything.

Maybe I am wrong in having this perspective but I will still stick to it.

I agree, and Ishita is not just any woman.she is a strong independent woman, married to a ceo.
comes from a financially sound background.
if she cannot fight for herself no one can, they need to send out a strong message when women safety is such an issue in India.
like Prime minister Modi mentioned in his independence day speech, why are rules only for girls in this country ,parents should hold boys accountable for their behavior as well.

And look at the people who harassed her so called sharif high society, well educated business men.the leaders of society.

I mean they must know she is Raman's wife.not even one person from the crowd came forward to help her.
I don't think Raman, Mani ,Mihir and bala would stand by and see something like this happen.

she should file a case and fight because this time even her family is with her.

Meghz

TOTALLY understand😭

But I dont think I have the courage to travel alone at night in Delhi. I DO ALL THE TIME in the city I live in, I walk my sub to round up the kids even at midnight, without one fear.
I will not jeopardize my safety by foolishly inviting trouble in a city like Delhi. Yes I can quit my day job, return to India and work on reforming the city maybe. But I cannot do that. I can only keep myself and my famil;y safe whenever we visit..

However punitive the justice system becomes, I dont have hopes that it will deter crimes in Delhi.
Hanging the perpetrators in Nirbhaya case did not end rapes in Delhi. I value my safety more than reforming society I guess...

I do my bit in different ways, but will NOT work for a guy like Ashok to reform him, will not bring a guy like Param home, will not willingly walk into a police station to own up for crimes I did not commit.

I agree about women's empowerment and freedom and liberation and all that other good stuff 👏👏..BUT...Will not dress like Ishita has for the party and take an auto, or bus or metro in Delhi. That would be ludicrous. I dont have the courage to do that..."Main duniya ko badal doongi types"

EXACTLY
This is what ails the system. Try being a nobody and attempt to report a crime... of a missing female child... "bhaag gayi hogi apne lover ke saath" will be the first response

MOST crimes in Delhi are committed by the most politically economically and legally influential.

The rule following, honest, law abiding middle class has NO savior in Delhi if something gpoes wrong... see the 1000s of unfortunate souls lined up outside Tees Hazari courts in Delhi... lawyers and judges royally s---- them😭😭 many are those that chose to "take on the system heroically"

The PM can say ANYTHING at a rally, nobody is going to hold him accountable. We havent held any PM accountable in 60 years...

I speak strictly for Delhi

I think it is true for rest of India as well, which is why the message they convey through YHM matters.we might think no one watches soaps for moral science but it has an effect.Passing stringent laws is not going to solve this problem nor enforcement ,if that were the case the first world would have fewer incidents of rape which is not true. The change has to come in the mindset of people.
They should shame Ashok and Param in public.Take the issue to their mothers.
In our society the victim is shamed while it should be the other way around.
our films, literature.. television are a reflection of our attitude as well as a weapon to bring forth change.
It has to be like a carpet bombing campaign.

Nisha - I agree with what you had siad and that is we have to watch out and be responsible for our own safety. No matter where we live whether it is in India or in any other country there will always be crazies roaming around looking for their prey. No matter how strong you are physically and mentally it does leave an emotional scar when you undergo the trauma in the hands of those vultures. I loved the fact that they are showing the emotional toll that has taken on Ishita after she was harassed so badly by a group of men. The last time when Param tried to molest her they did not explore the possibility of her being affected emotionally. In the show, the thing that I like to see is that eventhough it is not Ishita's fault that she was stuck at a wrong place she should stand up for herself and report those morons to the police and make sure justice is served for all the other girls who have been the victims of perverts like Param.

The other day I was at the groecry store in the afternoon and a creepy guy was following me around all through out the store and mind you this is in broad daylight and there was also two security guards in the store one up front and one at the back and there were surveillance cameras and all that shebang. Yet, there was fear growing inside me and I picked up speed and got my items checked out and left as fast as I could. I was not going to take any chances eventhough the environment was more than secure.
