Sony TV to premiere Kill Dil' in December

'Kill Dil' on Sony TV
The gap between cinema releases and their television premieres has been narrowing over the past few years. The latest BizAsia has learned is that the newly released Kill Dil', will premiere on Sony Entertainment Television Asia next month - within a month of its theatrical release.
Kill Dil' - a Yash Raj Film production, stars Ranveer Singh, Govinda, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra, released at cinemas today and the broadcaster confirmed its premiere for December. Whilst a tentative broadcast time has been given, it is yet to be confirmed.
It is rare for a film, the size and caliber of Kill Dil' to get its premiere on TV so soon. Typically broadcasters wait 2-3 months after the film has been released. It is also unusual for a film to confirm a film premiere before it is released at cinemas.
Kill Dil' will air on Sony TV in December.
