I agree with u here and at the end of the day, these channels only seek out one thing and that is profit and y wouldn they? Its their money at stake. Audience should be blamed here and there are many whom I know who claim to watch these TV shows out of sheer boredom. They say crappy hai par kya kare? If this is the attitude people have, then what can the channel do? They will encourage shit shows to continue on without a story. I remember Ekta Kapoor quoting in a very old interview that she knows she is making cliched stuff but what choice does she have? No point if she makes something that is innovative and one of a kind if she ends up watching it alone in her living room. But EHT is in top 10. Then y this hurried ending? I am not saying drag for years but take a month or two extra n give it a proper closure. It depends on how they move the story forward from this point.

Star Flush first cheated EHT and put it on a disadvantage by giving it 8 PM slot though producer wanted 11 PM. Then it complained over TRP?🤢

They have worst contracts too. EHT cannot even be shifted to another channel. It is property of SP.😡

Creatives are gagged by Star TV.😡

They also restrict their actors to the channel only. That was what happened with the original gopi wasn't it when she joined Jhalak.

I agree in most of the cases .. but not only SP each n every channel in India is running behind the TRP n thus QUALITY is running away from them .. in fact some quality shows we have either get closed or starts modifying in the Saas Bahu trend

I am glad that with EHT at least I don't have to tolerate it .. I was really scared when the wedding drama but as the show is going to end soon they are going fast and the thrill is coming back .. I just want this show to get a proper closure ..

However, in one case I beg to disagree .. it would be better if we keep "Satyamev Jayate" out of this .,. I don't think it's continuation has anything to do with Mr. Perfectionist .. it is a Prestige Project for SP .. no matter if TRP is less many log in to their site to watch the show .. in fact me too do the same if I miss any episode .. Prestige Projects like SML is always exception case n to be honest even after being an EHT fan, I agree that no show has the "impact" like SMJ .. this show gave India little but very important things .. like Fast Track Court in Bhopal for rape cases, speed up the law pass against child abuse n many more so plz don't bring this example .. hope I didn't offended you .. thanks

I like Satyamatev Jayate. It is a really good show to watch. It is the other ones which lack variety.

Next show they will end or make crap "Nisha aur uski cousines" ..Star plus never maintained any quality ...EHT was never meant for TRP if you see ..i always knew this will never become successful as shits like SNS,Yeh rishta etc because we all know craps sells

Those laws did not come due to SMJ.

Child abuse bill was already scheduled to be passed that year. SMJ just happened to come around same time and the PR claimed it was their impact.

Fast track court was already in pipeline after Nirbhaya case. SMJ coincided and marketing team again took credit for so called impact.

I can show you detailed articles on these laws and schemes and how they were used by SMJ marketing team to claim as their own impact.

My point is that if only TRP matters then why movie stars' shows get leeway?

They will give similar leeway to Everest too though it is not even a social show like SMJ.

Partiality is only there for TV industry.

why is it competitive too? There is so much friction between different channels and production houses. 😕
