Agree with your anger and frustrations of this industry and their obsession with Saas

Bahu crap.

All the TRP Aunties want to spend time wanting to see , is that there should be more

controlling and abusive M I L"s out there that makes them look better.

There is no production houses left with enough guts to think outside the box and show

something that will stop this pleasing the TRP aunties and discover that there are many

that are very fed up with the same old BullCrap.

Star Plus does favoritism, its biased in favor of the Mittals (DABH), Rajan Shahi (YRKKH), Rashmi Sharma (SNS), Rajshree Films(PKDH) etc.

So they let the shows by these PHs run for years and years even when there is no story left and they are just showing OTT melodrama, complete nonsense, nauseating themes!

I have heard TRPs are manipulated by SP. Thats why even their ghatiya shows have good trps while really good shows on Sony dont do well.

Its evident that SP is not in favor of this PH thats making EHT. Thats why inspite of getting good trps and awards, SP decided to pull the plug on the show 3 months earlier than planned.

It was already a finite show so what was the need to end it 3 months before its logical end?

SP lures in viewers to watch their shows with flashy promos, big telly star names, and the fabled 'never before seen' concepts but then royally rips us off by giving us its typical saas bahu bakwaas.

In short imo SP only serve one dish to cater to their niche TRP audience, and fool us all when they present it with a different sauce.

EHT had the potential to be really different. It had a fantastic plot, overall a brilliant cast, and most importantly an message that needed to heard by the masses.

People don't want to see Mahan bahu's putting up with abusive hubbies and socio MIL's who constantly try to demean them.

We want to see a real woman saying heck no am I putting up with this BS. If you mess with me and my own I will bloody hunt and take you down.

The saying 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' is what I though of when I saw Durga during the initial days of EHT. Now all that applies is 'rista wohi thay and wohi hei' as we see her rushing around after her dheela husband and psycho in-laws.

SP is truly Star Flush. I was enjoining NAUC too until they started forcing all cousins into engagements and forbidden love affairs. The lead character was molested in childhood during a sports meet and instead of showing her solely taking tentative steps back into the sporting world they of course have to show a dashing, brooding hunk hold her hand as she does.

You know I just realised the reason why I hate and can't respect SP ever is because as a woman I detest their sexist ever-ending, patronising tripe! And more to the point they have the nerve to deliver it as a feminist pov!

These TRP aunties must have been dropped on their heads one too many times in childhood to not only actually put up with s*** but also enjoy it!

Instead of Nisha coming to terms with her past and progressing in her life on her own steam, they have this royal stud coming into her life, giving her chances, catching her in his arms! 🥱

There goes the serial!

And its not even 6 months old, thats when most of these desi shows "jump the shark"

Like EHT jumped the shark with arrival of Dev!

yeah it was indeed the best show of Star Plus but what can I say? I mean we have all seen this right? Star plus dont like interesting shows. They just want make rajasthani family dramas like baisa baisa and beendi or whatever ... as the op mentioned.
Now I think most of the shows are family dramas and you can not actually blame the channel because lets face it their main viewers are housewives and they like family dramas. At the end of the day its all about money.
Anyways It was really a great show and my fav although i started watching it late. One thing i have to mention about shakshi goyenka her acting was fantastic and her voice and charisma really suited her role. she is very smart. Another thing I like about the show is the bg music of durga and dev.
BTW what do you guys think of Shaurya and Sanjukta ????? They have great chemistry. Do you think they will make a couple ????

Star Network, Colors are all the same I feel. I feel ony Sony or Zee is making an attempt to show different content. And what TRP yaar... EHT is doing well on the TRP...there are other shows much worse but will those get booted? no of course not coz they are saas bahu dramas.
Ek saal toh chalne dete! What shit. this is why they shut down Star One too because it didnt have typical saas bahu dramas.
