Majority of the actors in the industry believe that it's the aam junta' who truly hold the power to make or break them and the show they are a part of.
Well if that is the scenario then we can say without a shadow of doubt that audiences all over the globe have open heartedly loved and accepted Vivian Dsena the amazingly talented actor who breathed life into the larger than life character of RK aka Rishabh Kundra, thereby making Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon the show that brought him a one way ticket to super-stardom.
Vivian's on screen persona of a Bollywood Superstar with an inimitable chutzpah and ego aided with dialogues to die for made the character an instant hit from day one. What made Vivian's portrayal of RK memorable is the unpredictability he brought into the character thereby making it entertaining and alluring episode after episode. Most characters end up being monotonous and thus boring however the same can't be said for RK all thanks to Vivian Dsena.
Ever wondered if Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon would have gained the popularity that it did, had the producers of the show taken the advice of others and not roped in Vivian Dsena because they latter lot believed that VD is a wooden-faced actor and wouldn't be able to pull off the character of RK? I guess not. The role was tailor made for VD and his portrayal of RK placed him in the big leagues and also won him awards and accolades.
When the makers decided to take a leap of 20 years, Vivian exited from the show only to be brought back because somewhere it was apparent that MEIEJ was incomplete without him and it was and is still kinda impossible to imagine the show without him.
