Bala is having Extra-Marital affair

The scene between Raman and Bala might have other significance too. I think it's hinting towards the shelved Bala mystery track. Bala was having a tiff with a mysterious lady named R. Maybe willingly or unwillingly he got physical with that lady. Later he might have tried to shrug it off but the lady wouldn't want to let him go. Since then she's manipulating Bala to continue extra-marital relationship with her.
Bala gave Raman a condom packet saying he confiscated it from a student during tuition class. Can a teacher bar a student to use an aid to have safe sex? Even if he can considering the student a minor, wouldn't it be natural to return this confiscated thing to the tuition center authority and inform the student's parents? But keeping it in his pocket sounded odd. Raman's expression of disbelief when Bala showed it to him was spot on. Raman was busy with his own dilemma plus he trusted Bala a lot, so he bought his excuse. But in reality, this contraceptive aid might be connected with the unresolved Bala mystery. His advice and actions suggest that he might not be so sidha-sadha as he appears.So, I think the Bala mystery dates with Ms. R might get revived soon.

Damn him and Mihir are the two characters I love no matter what. :(

That thought crossed my mind too but somehow, it just doesn't ring with me. Bala has always been an upright man of morals. Sure he loosens up at times with a drink, but that doesn't make him a bad person. He doesn't seem like the man who would cheat on his wife. He and Vandu love each other so much.

Possible. Bala's advice to Raman and clarification regarding the contraceptive sounded incoherent.

Not to be insensitive to Ishita's condition, but Raman doesn't really need a condom does he? I mean, Ishita cannot become pregnant. For that matter, neither does Bala need a condom since Vandu is already pregnant. So the presence of the condom is definitely suspicious. I just hope Bala is not cheating on Vandu. 🤔

Well, Bala gave the advice for Raman's friend, so he brought the condom topic. Still it sounded odd. And yes,I didn't buy his excuse of confiscating it from a student.

I was thinking the same. Bala didn't look too convincing when he tried to explain how he got the condom packet.
