I don't even think punz likes gautam. In the initial episodes of secret society, he was the one who instigated others to nominate Gautam coz "he's attitude was not good".
When it was time to save someone, he always chose someone other than Gautam. Probably, he considers gautam to be a fool and undeserving of all the popularity and love from audience.

Gautam is an emotional fool. He should realize that why everyone says that puneet is a snake and backbiter.

Gautam is a very loyal and affectionate friend...And Punz is someone who could embarrass even a chameleon 😆. No way Puneet deserves a friend like Gautam.
