It wasn't just one scene which you can pin-point. As people have said, "It was love at every sight". Every encounter brought them closer and it gradually developed into love. The progression actually started right from the time Manik and Nandini had a heart to heart talk after Manik saw Rishabs attack for the first time. Ok so I've only very recently caught up on their scenes...and from what I've managed to gather...first turning point was that accidental kiss...Nandu deffo got conscious after that for a bit...so did Manik...but then things moved on into their usual 'he tortures her, she grumbles about him' routine...

The attraction took hold from that point onwards but it was Manik that was more directly aware of the attraction, thus fought it...Nandu was sort of just going along with the flow without pausing to think much since she is innocent that way...and she was convinced that he hated her.

The other turning point for her might have been that time she refuted Navya's claim that Manik is gay and she then thought back to all the times when he more than demonstrated his straight desire for her...lol...

She started respecting him a bit from the time he took care of Rishab, yes...the attraction grew side by side but she didn't dwell on it...probably also cuz Manik always managed to successfully confuse her with his bipolar angry outbursts.

Off late, first with that hug...where she accepted and reciprocated on a very intuitive level for the first time and the later on the drunk episodes, the diwali moment...it all lead to a natural evolution for Nandu...


While it's true that Manik's feelings were charted more clearly for the viewers since he was the more conflicted one than Nandu, technically there hasn't been an "official" admittance to themselves from either Manik or Nandu with regards to THE moment they knew that they were in love...it all just mutually evolved.

Nandu is holding back from expressing her fireflies=true love theory as of now cuz she probably thinks he'll find it silly and laugh at her.

But she has indirectly more than expressed her feelings for him with how accepting and reciprocating she has been of intimacy b/w them...maturely handled.

Well they've made the promises about trust and HUMESHA now...will that trust last though? 😆...it doesn't it most shows.

i am now rewatching some scenes again and yes u r right the first accidental kiss definitely a turning point for both them especially manik ki tho sitti bitti gul ho gayi..remember he was wearing glasses to hide his emotions 😆 and was mouthing totally contradictory things to Dhruv..he has done that twice..means chashma comes at perfect moment 😆

loved how u explained it here..thats why probably Manik's feelings were easy to register in viewers mind unlike Nandini's .

I am actually loving how without expressing they gradually surrendered to each other..as u said very maturely handled...

Yes, now time has almost reached to test whatever they vowed to each other..lets see how the trust shapens out...i actually ended up watching Dhruv and Manik scene so many times...😆.. such a sudden change of emotions this character had to go through no ?

Ok so back to this show...lol exactly, Manik was gobsmacked when the accidental kiss happened...I think they even showed his eyes widening and him totally FREEZING after that...lol...they were both totally in a daze for a bit before Nandu got up and ran off...and he was totally unsettled after that...it's only when other incidents happened that he got something to distract himself with and not dwell directly on that.

Also I think it was you that mentioned in another post in this thread regarding the store scenes, right? I totally agree with you...I really liked the poignancy with which that entire stool bit was shot when Nandu takes his hand to help herself up and the Shaam song worked well there too...that was another significant moment in their equation evolving...Like the fact and the way Nandu chose to trust him like that really affected him...ek toh she's this tiny si thing in front of him...and just the way that scene was shot, the way she bit by bit took his hand, then put her other hand on his shoulder for support, it was almost like a dance pose was being formed...lol

Store scenes were also a turning point cuz that was when the MU about who sent the goons behind Nandu was clarified and Nandu got convinced it wasn't Manik...so that portion showed how she started to have more faith in him despite her being irritated by his "monster" side.

Another important moment was probably that time she slept over in his room under his bed and he put the blanket on her...after she wakes up, she remarks to herself that he has goodness inside him but hides it.

So Nandu noticed his goodness from time to time and it subconsciously did register with her even as his other rude behavior frustrated her.

Which is why when the time ultimately came to take their relationship forward, the intimacy came naturally...cuz Nandu had started to TRUST him like she said...it is that trust that gives her the confidence/courage to respond to his desire without acting like the typical coy female lead...cuz most shows with the "good traditional girl" template show the female lead like that only.

Nandu is traditional, rooted, yes but she also seems to have a great capacity for compassion and a natural embracing of her feelings/desires.

This is not to discount the fact that ofcourse Manik being how he is has handled the intimacy issue b/w them well too...he's drawn her out.

I actually haven't seen the precap...so I don't know what exactly happened b/w Manik and Dhruv...but I guess angst is on the way...and the usual misunderstandings.

Even i had thought about the "under the bed" moment..it was another benchmark for her..and now am wondering when will that pink note make its re-entry..😆..i think it will come for sure

another scene which i can think of is their meeting after their night hug ...someone had mentioned it in previous post..when Manik told it was a mistake..she was so very uncomfortable almost tearing those tissues in her hand reflecting her in turmoil or may be slight hint of sadness as he called it a mistake..i donno..may be u can decipher it better..

I feel in the drunken scene uske saare subconscious feelings bahar aa rahe the even without she being aware of it..she actually ponders over his statement that he likes star bcoz they shine..vaha she thinks a little bit in a very cute way and then she is like " i will always shine for you.".. that kind of said it all i guess as in she wants to do what he likes 😳

btw that manik and Dhruv scene was not in precap but in the last episode only..i meant the scene where Dhruv tell Manik about Nandini...
