Amit, Emon, Ankita, and Deepali are on in a different league to the rest of the contestants. The rest are average to below average.

I'm not a Puja fan but she was one of the best yesterday. She did a decent job of not sounding too childish especially in the second song Khallas. I thought it would be another deedar de but it wasn't. Deepali wasn't at her best but come on, there were far worse singers than her! Charu wasn't bad either. She took such a risk with the first song so I was expecting her to go out.

No offense, Prashant and Chang are overrated!! Chang ruined the first song but the judges went just crazy over him! Why? Even Parleen to some extent is overrated but when he sings terribly, he gets in the bottom three/two. The other two give poor performances and they never come in the bottom three (except Prashant did once in piano round) If we talk about nasal tone, even Prashant sounds nasal at times. And he hardly brings any variety into his singing. He has limited range, which was evident when he was singing e ajnabi yesterday.

Its not about 'did charu deserved to get eliminated or not' Its why only the girls are getting out. And 3 girls were in bottom 3.Now dont tell me all the girls are worse than all the guys. Last week Smita didnt deserved to get out (iam not her fan but i still feel she wasnt the worst that week)Next week iam sure it will be Deepali (most possibly) or Puja... both the girls are highly talented and are good singers. There are some guys who arent consistant at all... and if they give just an average performance ppl wil praise n vote like crazy. And JA didnt meant 'make a girl the idol' he said why the public is targettin only the girls... why are they being bias and discrimating..where there are guys who arent better singers than them. Is II3 about talent? or maybe its all about gender n regional bias and sympathy n 'cute'looks. I remember reading a post where a member said he doesnt like when the girls performs or dances on stage he feels its not a sign of good character... but when people like Parleen dance its fair nice hot and etc etc.... strange logic!!! And there are some who feels this whole statment by JA and the judges might be a negative effect on their 'favourite male contestants' voting but i have to say dont worry all the girs will be out way before the good looking boys. I have nothin against they guys infact i vote for amit and emon all the time... and this isnt gonna change and if chang prashant n the rest of da guys sing exceptionally well i 'll support them aswell... But the thing is the girls inspite of singing better than many of the guys are landing in bottom 3 or gettin eliminated. Get ready to say good bye to Deepali or Puja next week... Lage Raho Janta... Indian Idol should be for male singers only
