Barkha's scary bidai

A dulhan's bidai ceremony is always an emotional peak of that occasion, however for Anupama, protagonist of Sahara One's Doli Saja Ke, it turned out to be a pretty alarming experience. We are talking about the sultry Barkha Bisht, who recently developed cold feet while shooting this sequence at Future Studio, Goregoan.

Here's the incident in Barkha's words. "I was sitting in the corner of the doli when they lifted it. But soon I realised that it was shaky, so I yelled as I was scared of falling," says Bisht. Her scream was good enough for the crew to get terrified and they all ran towards the doli to check her well-being. And Barkha was horrified indeed!


But as the show as to go on, a professional Barkha continued with her take, "It was initially that I got scared, but later I got used to it. While enacting that scene, I knew I had to get emotional, so I got into the skin of the character by thinking that this is a part of my real life," The scene was finally okayed in 15 takes.
