The situation is such that in the current scenario, Abhi also develops very solid feelings for Pragya and her feelings grow for him as well. Just when Abhi starts to see a life with her and moves away from Tannu, Aaliyah accuses Pragya of having an affair openly with Suresh, along with some solid made up proof. Daadi's health worsens and Abhi gets mad at Pragya, more so because he was dreaming of a life with her and she was involved with another man at the same time. He does not believe her explanations and one day he finds Pragya not in the house anymore. Pragya had just gone to stay in her mother's house giving Sarla's health as a reason. Abhi does not try to contact her.
The very next day, he overhears Aaliyah and Tannu celebrating their success. They go one by one on how they fooled Pragya by switching Purab's letter, stealing her MMS clip of the corporator, framing her with Suresh etc. Abhi shouts on them right there and asks them to get away from his sight. He desperately goes to Pragya with apologies and regret. Pragya tells him she has never held anything against him and he is free to live his life with Tannu and she will sort out their marriage very soon. She tells him that, just like he always said, there is no love in their relationship and there is no point in continuing their fake bond.
Abhi feels no right to question her on anything and gets home.
But every day and night after that, he misses her, badly, truly, dearly. Her waking him up in the morning to his every night fights with her before going to bed, he misses her at every routine of his days. He feels her right with him, yet he knows she isn't there, perhaps would never be there.

She was someone who looked at him beyond his evils, beyond his tantrums, beyond his anger. She saw just the good in him and returned his every bad in a pure smile.

Abhi tries to indulge himself in in music concerts and travels places. But that makes him yearn for her all the more. Tannu begs at his feet for forgiveness, but he tells her off declaring the end of their relation. He has a million fans craving for him, the whole music industry dancing to his tunes, but she is not there, the one who has seen him in his worst and the one who would stand with him in his worst. His whole being craves for her.

The one woman who often seemed to touch his soul,
The one woman from whom he kept his heart miles away. His heart craves for her today and his soul feels alone.

He remembers the turnout of events that led to her walking out of his life. When he demeaned her of having an affair with another man, she had gone numb. She had just looked at him with hope, but he had sarcastically smiled at her that she still thought he would believe her. Now that he knows she had locked secrets and truths in her heart all along, he wonders why did she never tell him anything? Why did he not allow her to tell him anything? She was the only one who could sort it out, who could sort him out.

As he tries to rest on bed on yet another sleepless night, he feels something inside his favorite pillow. It's the letter that she wrote before she left, without a desire to let him read it or a hope that he would read it. The letter has no complaints, no explanations but it just summits of her well wishes for him, her care for him and her sincere love for him. His tears wet the ink on the letter, spreading her emotions.
But it makes him believe in everything again. He believes in himself. He believes in her. He believes in them. He smiles, he whistles, he jumps on his bed.
He finds his car keys and drives to her mother's home, in the middle of the night.
