Today CVs came up with an absurd idea of comparing music with sword
I mean really CVs is there any comparison?
Music brings peace to soul
Music is a universal language which anyone can understand
Music can bring together even enemies
Even plants and animals enjoy music cows give more milk if music is played to them
and Sword
well it brings only bloodshed, tears, violence
So how can CVs compare these two.
Even God must be loving music so he created water falls, sounds etc on earth

jalal just wanted to show to be a king u need to be strong. a would be emperor cant say i fear swords. tht was actually not a comparison. tht was a technic to erase off salim's fear. salim said tht he fears swords so jalal wanted him to like the sound of swords as well. 2ndly, sword is not just for bloodshed but also to protect ur people from enemies. it was not music v/s sword it was actually a jugalbandi where u can love music but u have to be strong as well.

I actually beg to differ😊... ask the same question to a fencer...to a swordsman and he'll feel differently... for him, his music will be in the whizzing sounds of the sword's blade... ask the same question to a hunter.. he'd find his rhythm in the silent sounds of nature... same way, a martial arts expert...
This is why during Ayudha pooja, man offers his prayers to musical instruments and weapons at the same time!

What is music to one is not necessarily music to another... at the same time, music can also be explored in more forms than just vocals and chords!
I haven't seen the episode yet - but IF THIS is how the makers wanted to portray it, they've definitely touched a new direction!

Also in all Gurukuls where such art-forms used to be taught (even the basic rules of martial arts) are self-DEFENCE! It doesn't teach you to attack unless attacked (though we know not everyone follows/followed this strictly)

Today obviously, sword fighting and fencing have become more of sport-forms! 😊
