i'v must say i'v not followed this serial from the starting, and have only watched half of a couple of episodes, the SSB and SBS segments. and will honestly say that i will not watch this serial, for these reasons

the concept and treatment is outdated, and more a wet dream fantasy of a 13 year old.

regression is a psychological defence mechanism that cause an adult to regress to child. it is an traumatic disorder, and nto a normal condition.

neha is mentally a 13 / 14 year old child. so how can they think of her marriage. its like condoning child marriage. or accepting that if a girl has her periods at 10 she old enough to marry and bare kids.

the show that neha and aman are childhood sweethearts, what do children know about love and marriage or even adult relationships.

ok so neha has a problem, and obviously in her 14 year old mind she is living her fantasy, but what the hell is wrong with Aman, is he retarded. if not why is he behaving like one. and the rest of the family. which centuray are the living in. have they never heard of medical science.

i know a lot of people may say that as i'v not watched the serial i wont know how cute the couple is. but i dont care for the couple or the cast. but the message it sends out.

a psychological problem cannot be cured by such stupid notions like get the girl/ boy married, give them responsibility and the disorder will go away.

who ever comes up with such dakyanoosi concepts should study psychology or at least do some research on the condition of regression

Many here are a little green at the thought of Aman and Neha's shaadi, and for many of the reasons you've specified.

However, this story is NOT about regression. This is not an adult who has regressed to a child in her mind due to trauma or injury. This is a child who has been in a coma for the past 12 years and who is now expected to behave like an adult. This show isn't so much psychology in terms of an actual medical condition so much as the emotions, thoughts, and feelings of a young girl suddenly thrust into her adult years and expected to behave as such.

It's totally fine if you don't want to watch the show or don't like it, but please realize that this show's story is very different from what you are talking about. And honestly speaking, in Neha's case, slowly giving her responsibility is a good idea (although I myself, despite believing Aman and Neha are very cute, am not liking how quickly they are headed towards marriage...)

As for what children know about love, well that depends on if you believe that love is based in friendship 😉 I think childhood friends have a higher chance of having truly happy relationships (my personal experiences, and ofc this isn't to say those couples that weren't childhood friends aren't happy). But you're right, getting her married when she is mentally a child feels very strange anyway.

I see that you have an IPK pic in your profile. Dude that show was far more regressive with all that arm twisting, manhandling girl etc. But let's not go there.

I agree with you that I am not in for Aman/Neha's shaadi at the moment. Neha needs to fill the gap of the years she missed - going to school, educating herself, discovering more to life. Marriage is not the solution.

But I absolutely disagree that the show is regressive. I won't call it progressive either. Rather, it is beyond all that. It is a simple idea & concept of not letting the child within you die even when you've become old. There are so many problems, issues we deal with everyday, why not face them with a smile. Why not live life to the fullest, take risks, and live in the moment. That's what this show stands for.

And who says that as a child you cannot love? Why not? Love is the purest emotion everyone of any age can feel.

BTW, I would suggest you watch the show properly to know what it is really about. Neha does not have any mental disorder or any condition. She's just woken up from a coma after 12 years so her mind is still stuck onto the child she was back then.

why is every one thinking that the 2nd they are married they will have sex/kids? I think its just engagement Now and then slowly they will take it further with aman and her family helping her explaining teaching her what she missed and they will/should show her maturing learning they ways of life and also keeping her innocence. And I think cvs don't need to study psychology but you need to realise all shows are fiction far off then reality. And I like the show and like the marriage track providing they do show them as friends till neha start to realise what marriage life actually means.

My daughter is 12 and is mature enough to understand how to behave in front of elders and how to be a kid. Neha is shown 14 years old and acts so stupid with everyone. I grew up in Indiia In a small town, had a good relationship with my family but had never jumped around like an idiot. This show has no story line, no concept and the girl who is portraying the character of neha is always over acting. I watched few scenes of beginning episodes here and there and didn't like it at all. Don't mean to offend anyone but it's not for me.

Not every 12 year old acts the same way, and honestly Neha doesn't even behave badly. She behaves exactly how most 12-14 year olds act. Happy, free, yet reasonably mature in front of OUTSIDERS (at least I think so. I can't really think of too many instances where she was all hyper away from aman or her family.)

In my opinion, Neha behaves like she should and I think Smriti is doing a pretty great job in the role. At that age, I was free and there was no "maturity" tying me down to not behave like an "idiot". The interesting thing is, the whole show is about how one should behave freely and seek happiness (as Neha does) without being afraid of what others will think of you.

PyaarDostiHai & prc fan said it all 👏👏 The show is in no way about regression.However old you grow up if you have a child like feel within you the world would have been a better place. There would not be so much of negativity and violence is what I believe.

Well marraige was not at all a necessity now. They could have made the track in a different way.

And pkdhot pls tell me when did Neha misbehave???

Neha is how the kids of that age group would be fun loving. She has the maturity she needs to have.
