Dont even ask...sometimes it gets really awkward... a few years back, it was terrible..i use to turn my face and look here and dere😆

Lol I am also one of those who change the channel or turn their faces here and there or avoid watching such movies altogether...actually with my mom I can watch just about anything but never with the rest of the family members.Honestly even a lingering peck on the cheek bothers me then

It becomes really awkward.

I sometimes make some excuse and change the channel and if not that I see here and there and try to ignore that by doing silly things 😆

I always look at IMDB under the 'sex/intimate scenes' section to ensure there are no awkward scenes in the movie. If there are I strategically omit myself from the room a minute or two before I know they'll start like I'll offer Mum and Dad to make them chai or something.

I ALWAYS ensure I do not have possession of the remote. It's SO AWKWARD to have the remote in such a situation, because if you start to forward the scene it's embarrassing because then you know they know you think it's awkward and uncomfortable and if you just let the scene play out and hold your breath and look everywhere but at the screen it's...still awkward.

I sound like such a prude but man, it's so stressful watching intimate scenes with parents beside you.

That's the part the family thoroughly enjoys watching. All three generations of the family get extremely excited and assemble near the TV whenever we hear a moan, and there is a frown on all our faces when it's over!
