Btw Ekta had many times offered QT roles in her serials. But he never did them as he wanted to do BW. Kar hi leta...maybe TV star hi ban jaata.

The talented guys from reality shows do make it if they have good connections though.

Mohammed Irfan ( who sung Banjara of EV ) is also a reality show "Voice of India" participant.
Two other guys from that show Harshit & Toshi are music directors today.

All these runners up and finalists of Indian Idol + Fame Gurukul later participated in some SP singing reality show...Both Rooprekha and Rex got out pretty early in tht show too if I remember right😕I think Rahul Vaidya won tht show

Really?he should've swollen his pride and accepted those offers.😆.He might be around 28-29 now..there is still time.Ekta is anyway relaunching her 32+ Balaji loyalists in telly soaps nowadays😆

Except for Shreya Ghosal and Sunidhi who were winners in reality shows and went on to became top singers, none of the other winners have carved out a place for themselves. But yeah, as you said, many of the participants have done really well! Which once again proves how orchestrated these shows are!

on the side note,qazi looked the best among them and was very innocent while evryone else was simply conniving 😵 i remember how that rex used to link himself up with Ruprekha and link arpita to Qazi and since they both were really good friends, either one of them wanted to be in the winner duo 🤣 but thanks to the audience, they instead made qazi and ruprekha the winner and both got babajikathullu 🤣

didnt know that.Mohmd Irfan was a reality show contestant too.Oh wow!I love his renditions..brilliant voice quality..I liked his song better than Arijit's.I also love Mustafa Zahid's and Sreeram Chandra(Indian Idol winner) 's singing among the new talents

I used to watch that show .. it had the best overall singing talent that i've seen in a reality show.
Irfan was one of the top 5 participants but didnt reached finale.

Because Arijit is obviously a tighter person.

ek toh he was entertaining. plus the judges and contestants were really bitchy to him. so lots of sympathy votes :)

BTW rooprekha was just awful. she was a nice singer but she used to behave jaise ki agli lata mangeshkar hai .

but qazi came on another reality show - the one based on survivor island. didn't watch it but my friends tell me that he was awful in it. very arrogant .

during that 2004 05 time ekta tv actors were very hype like cezane khan (anurag) or rajiv (sujal) :P he could have been popular through prime time nautankibazzi 😆
