In my opinion there are many ways to go with this serial. They should be showing how neha prices her life back together and tries to catch up to her class mates and fits back in to society while developing her identity. But the cvs have instead decided to focus on the usual saas bahu drama with a love story and then saas being mean to bahu. I would like to have seen more something different. Cvs have not once focused fully on nehas feelings of being in coma and having gone through such a trauma and how she feels about being behind in years. They have a gold mine but chosen not to cash in on it.

I agree.

While the initial scenes between Aman and Neha were sweet, I'm a little wary of them now. Aman and Neha's romance is so artificial at this moment. They only know the 14 year versions of each other. They don't know the current versions. They need to catch up with each other, understand the way their lives have panned out, etc. I love that they still have their connection, but love seems so far fetched to me.

I really feel like the focus should be on Neha finishing her education like you said. She's missed years. They should show her learning to adapt to the new world around her. She's missed over 10 years of advancements. There needs to be some sort of confusion and growth for her character. She also needs to learn about the changes her family has gone through. Things don't go back the way they were 10 years ago, just like that. Her family has changed. They did a good job in the initial episodes. Maybe the CVs will get back to that.

That said, I do appreciate Smriti's approach to the character. It really feels as if she's still a youngster inside. A very earnest and genuine performance.

In all honesty the show has taken so many unexpected turns in the past few days that I don't really know where we're going. I just hope the CVs do. 😆 But maybe it won't end at a saas-bahu type serial at all? It's possible at least.

As for their connection being artificial, well I don't know. It's like, when you're super close to some one, you are able to pick up right where you left off, and that's the way it seems with Neha and Aman. They were obviously close childhood friends, and I think Neha helps Aman remember a time when he was truly happy, making him even happier around her. So I don't think they have an artificial relationship, or even that it's necessarily too soon to fall in love. I do hope Neha is given time to mature before their "love story" truly starts but I guess that's not happening 😒

I think it's rather interesting that Neha at the moment doesn't truly see how different the world around her is, and that's exactly the point. When you're young you don't really care or notice how the world is. It doesn't make much of a difference in your life so why bother? It's only when you mature that you start seeing the world and reflecting on the changes. I'm sure we'll see this in the future.

I was just going to write a topic about the same. Although both have fallen for each other in looks but not mentality. Aman is much more wiser. Instead of marrying her now as she is like a kid, he should help her achieve in school and later college. CV's should focus on her feelings of being in coma as well as her lack of experience in her rapid body change. She went through puberty without really experiencing it. If Aman marries her now, he might resent her later. Not to mention saas-bahu problems. CVs should show real love developing between them as Naha learns and matures with that never say die spirit and simplicity.

I'm not saying that Aman and Neha's connection is artificial. I totally understand it. There are just some friends with whom you can instantly pick up your friendship again, regardless of time apart. And that's what Aman and Neha's friendship is shown to be like. My issue in regards to artificiality, isthe love angle. Like you said, being around Neha makes Aman remember a time when he was truly happy, aka the past. But the past has gone and only the present and future remains. Aman presumably loves the Neha he knew from 12 years ago. She has yet to mature and even figure out who she is. Same with Neha's love for Aman. She loves the 14 year old, carefree, cricket obsessed boy. She's unfamiliar with the bogged by responsibilities, serious Aman. Their love is artificial in the sense that they do not know each other's present personalities. They have yet to understand each other, see the type of person each other has turned out to be (or has yet to become in Neha's case). Their love is artificial in the sense that it comes across more as a love for the nostalgia of their relationship, rather than love for the deep, innate qualities of each other.

I think, at this point, they are only at the crush stage. Love is yet to happen. Which is why I'm a little annoyed with the whole love angle.

Like you said, Neha is still emotionally immature. She hasn't noticed how the world around her has changed. But in order to adapt and actually begin living in the present (along with loving the present Aman) she needs to see how and what has changed.

But like you mentioned, the CVs have taken many unexpected turns so hopefully the love angle will drop in the coming days and more focus will be on Neha's journey to adapting.

Hi Mia and isha I m Sunjit. And yes I just don't see y the cvs r focusing on nehas love life when there is so much more for her to discover. She should be asking questions like what akku studied what her bhabo studied what she missed growing up while she wad in coma. Her education her feelings of hoe she feels having been in coma for so many years. She should go to self help group or continuing education for adults so she can mature to level if her friends. But no they have her thinking of love. And aman that was 14 is different from this aman does she even like this aman who follows his moms every command. Really what does she know about herself forget about him. I don't if I were in her position there would be so much I would be curious about never mind getting married or falling in love.

Another member also made a similar topic & I agree with you all. The focus should be placed on Neha as an individual rather than centering it around the love story, which the CVs are currently doing. Neha has so much she has missed out on & the focus should be on making her realise that. I find her oblivious to all that. Yes, she is growing on an emotional level lately, but she also needs to grow in a more worldly sense (for the lack of a better word) meaning go to school, finish college, make friends etc as mentioned by others. I really hope that just because she is 26, she is not made to marry soon & learn household work. There is more to a woman than just marriage & home. Also the family should understand that she is only 14 even though technically 26.

Let's see where the CVs go with this. At the moment, its difficult to predict exactly where the story is headed. Aman's proposal is making me uneasy, though, because that means more drama, convincing the family, marriage etc rather than Neha focusing on the important things she's missed out.

agreed like why aren't they focusing on more important things like Neha finishing her education trying to make her own identity . i thought they might focus on it esp after the friend told neha she's lucky in jagrata but cv's are in no mood instead of neha & family worrying about her shadi they should show her family helping her finish her studies be something. see these things are important i don't understand how they are going to show neha being married who will marry her with no education or hardly a high school diploma
