Now two healthy babies have died unexpectedly one after another. In modern times if police are to investigate they will consider everyone in agra fort as suspects that includes mother-father too. Because police will investigate all angels even those who have given complaint.
So if Akbar will constitute an enquiry he must do the following for a fair and impartial inquiry he has to do the following
1) Constitute an enquiry into death of his babies with a neutral investigator
Now who can be a neutral investigator inside agra fort or Mughal empire. It must be someone not related to Akbar and his family and friends. It must be someone not nfluenced by money, power, status of those involved in the investigation. And mind you this investigation will include questioning both Akbar and Jodha and Hamida etc so someone who is an impartial person.
In agra fort I do not find such impartial persons. Todarmal, Tansen, Birbal all work for Akbar so will be partial in investigation. Man Singh is related to Jodha again partiality will be there. I would vouch for only two impartial persons inside agra fort one is Salima begum and one Rahim. Both are not influenced by Akbar or any family member's power, status etc and can be neutral in investigation.
2) The suspect list
There are lot of suspect list Abul Mali, Sharifuddin, Mah chu chuk, all of Akbar's political enemies, all of Akbar's wives(other than Jodha), all of Akbar's ministers and nobels, maids inside harem, all daima's of babies, all workers inside agra fort who come in contact with babies etc
3) Motive for killing babies
To prevent them becoming next emperor
To take revenge on their father
To not wanting one wife giving heir
4) How have the babies been killed?
Strangulation
Poison
Choking of food
Others
So Akbar must either do a self investigation like in atifa case and take may be todramal as assistant or salima begum.
