donno if any of u noticed or not...as sahir walked out of the auction...he put forth his hand to open the door...but paused...as if he was reluctant to do so😕

any idea what can be the reason?????

That is because he considers it beneath his level to open the door to get into the car which is why involuntarily when he goes to open the car door,he pauses,remembers who he is and expects his driver to open it for him..

because the old sahir in him keep pushing him from inside but there are some rules which shark needs to follow...and showing off his power and wealth is one of them...getting your door open by a bodyguard or some servant symbolises power and differentiates you from "aam" log...for old sahir it doesn't matter so he extended his hand but only then he got mentally kicked by shark...its was like he reminded himself that don't come out of your shield dude 😉 this means deep down sahir is least interested in being a jerk...it like a fight between conscious and subconscious mind ..my poor baby 😭 I hate poora zamana for doing tis to him 😭 I guess his past has a lot to do with innocence , being nave not flaunting power and money ,treating everybody equal and above all believing in silly things like emotions, relations etc 😭

Exactly.. I felt it too.. But perhaps, there's something more to it.. Something reminiscent of his struggle to reach where he is.. maybe he wasn't born with a silver spoon..

Who knows, will have to wait for his past to be revealed.. But yes, that scene packed a punch! ⭐️

What I think is at one point of time before he became THE Sahir Chaudhry,he was just Sahir,a regular person who worked really hard against all odds to reach the level where he is now. So he is bitter about what all he had to go through to achieve success and that combined with his dark past has led him to be the cynic he is today.. Which is why just when he is about to open the door himself,his face hardens when he realizes that he wasn't that Sahir anymore and expects his driver to open it for him. But the person beneath that rough exterior still exists..

As you said,that scene was subtle but beautifully done!

I think that was who he was, a humble person who didnt mind opening his own car door ... And for a moment he forgot he is different now ... He was about to break the wall he has created where he is the BOSS but checked himself in time and paused to let the guard do it

Or else it could simply be that he considers it below his dignity to do that but if it was that simple why would he move his hand to do it to being with?

but if he was a person who threw his weight around for being powerful and rich...he would've shown his colours at the airport himself wen he was pulled out of the line for questioning...

May be he dint want to open it himself considering his status or may be Sahir has some kind of very bad past so everything he does now we ll know the reason later.
