Remember guys, Sam couldn't complete the three tasks which would eventually lead to closing the gates of hell. third task being curing a demon, I have a feeling that Sam would now try and do just that !

Which is pretty obvious given the show can't run otherwise. I guess he will get less demon and more Dean with the mark sort of thing like last year and they will work on how to cure him as a backdrop till mid season.

If Dean had to kill Sam he would have done it in the beginning. He wouldn't have asked Sam to let him go. Some part of me believes this unless of course Carver goes and changes it . But no I think he will happily stay with Sam.
