Spoilers ahead.

I saw two beautiful movies today, khoobsurat and Dawat e Ishq. In both movies heroines accept the hero for the way they r n vice versa too. In fact in Dawat e Ishq the heroine is like u r not the kind of Man I wanted somebody who is educated n sophisticated and yet I want to be in love with u.

Megha

Wish the shows stop recycling love stories with "mahaan" women who are too good to be true.🤔The show started with promise of a unique, mature story but its' heading towards the TRP dictated mold.😕

There have been some beautiful movies, where real love has been beautifully brought out. They give food for thought in the way they are depicted.

Love is acceptance of the person just the way they are warts and all. Married couples go through moments of being annoyed, frustrated, loving, admiring, the whole gamut of emotions it really has nothing to do with the other person but in the perception of the person in that moment. That's why Ishita going from refusing to talk to Raman to calling him "mera Raman" was way over the top. Makes her look like she's a bulb short of a dozen. If she continues on this "mahaan" path the equation in this love story will have a very different flavor.😳

It takes commitment from both to make a marriage work. Take Raman for example, he was desperate to save his marriage and Shagun wanted out of it. He gave her everything he thought she deserved as his wife, but Shagun wanted something else out of life. Though she claims she left Raman bec' she fell in love with Ashok, Mihir reminded her that it wasn't love that made her walk out but the lifestyle he promised. The woman who once rejoiced in Raman expression of love felt stifled by it and claimed to have fallen in love with Ashok. That rejection by Shagun left Raman a bitter, angry man. Six years later, he has moved on.
