Completely shocked and baffled...So Raman is only loveable IF HE BEHAVES LIKE ISHITA?
I take HUGE OFFENCE TO THAT

WHY should he forgive Shagun? Why should Mihir forgive Shagun?
Why cant they hold a grudge? If thats the case why doesnt Ishita champion Shagun's cause with Ashok and get her married? Why doesnt she bring Sooraj to the Bhalla House? That can also be deemed rational

I HATE the idea that he can be loveable ONLY IF HE MEETS HER EXPECTATIONS

Very disappointing... Why cant he be the way he wants to be and yet be loved by her? She is cocky, reckless and immature and irresponsible... YET he seems attracted to her

Why should he pander to her so called "superior" expectations?
Why cant he remain flawed?Where is the magic if they all start looking and sounding like Saint Ishita Bhalla? WHAT IS LOVE? Isnt it all about learning to accept the other person the way they are? Is he an alcoholic? Is he unemployed? Is he a bum? Is he a womanizer? Is he a philanderer? Why cant he maintain his character traits? WHY should he tow her line? Who mandated that Ishita is the most rational pragmatic human being? Why didnt she choose to "reform Subbu" and marry him? Why did she give up on him so easy?
She could have spared Raman Bhalla all this unnecessary psychotherapy sessions.

He has expressed displeasure, annoyance, anger, frustration, and sheer dsiappointment, when she brought Param home, when she brought Shagun home, when she forced him to have amoral thoughts about Sanjana. Will she quit now and stop interfering in other people's business? If that were Raman's precondition for becoming "MERI ISHITA?" I doubt it...

I just dont get it. I was OK with Raman and Mihir hating Shagun.⭐️
Ishita's personality is beginning to balloon out of proprtion. Its not love when you change the person completely. Is he only entitled to her lust and love if he acts and talks like her?

What does that make him?
Many words come to mind but wont put it down here.

An HOUR ago, she suspected her husband of having an affair with a teen, and now he is HER RAMAN?😡 Why? Beacuse he looks and acts like her clone?

What would her reaction have been if he had yelled at her, walked out in a huff, and refused to forgive Shagun and coaxed Mihir NOT to either?
No longer "YOUR RAMAN?" Mrs Ishita Bhalla?
You bet...

LOVED
Raman Bhalla and Mihir Arora today, even without the emotional sappy exchange in the balcony their bro-mance is quite evident. they share a effortless rhythm.

What an unbelievably good looking guy KP is, I posted elsewhere the color blue was created by God for HIM and HIM alone

I hold out on hope that I will get to see him in blue jeans and white shirt soon

I was missing Vyas's Rajma Idli rantings thread since his thread is the only place where I felt like I could express my opinion without being branded as Raman supporter or Ishita supporter. I love the show as a whole and all the characters are important for me. Having said that I really hope that everything is OK with him. Thank you Nisha for this thread and I go by Priya. I have seen and responded to some of your posts which I thought were well thought out.

Now coming to today's episdoe, I liked it but felt that it lacked continuity from how Ishita was acting based on her assumption that Raman might have had a relationship with Sanjana. She did not even have a ST that how wrong she was in thinking that way while she was lovingly gazing at Raman whom she called "Mere Raman" today for the first time. As much as I like and want to cherish her statement, this was what was going on in my mind "do din pehle woh katne ko daud thi thi" aaj Raman mere Raman kaise ho gaya? I would have felt better if she had acknowledged her stupidity at least to herself and then said the above.

Raj as Mihir was mindblowing today and he is an underrated actor. He plays his part so well and he is so sincere and genuine in his actions and emotions that you want nothing bad to happen to this guy or to his relationship with Raman. KP as Raman was perfect as usual and nailed every emotion and every expression. I was a little surprised when Raman actually started looking at Shagun's perspective and it was Ishita who made him think that way. If I remember correctly it was Raman who always made it a point to put Shagun down for maintaining a live-in relationship with Ashok and telling her that she is just his girl friend who has no last name. Today, he told Mihir he does not want anyone calling his kids mother out for having an illegitimate relationship. That was a shocker to me. It was a bit odd to see this 180 degree change. Is it because of Ishita's Sangath ka asar? I mean he sounded a tad bit Mahan to me but redeemed it nicely when he said that by giving Sahgun what she wants their lives would become so much better since she will stop bugging them once and for all. That reasoning I liked it and I am good with Raman saying that and not the one above where he was worried about someone else calling her bad names.

Precap was hot where he was getting closer and closer to Ishu and I am pretty sure it will be to get her all sweaty and bothered and then walk away. He is very very good at that. He has done that before too when he confessed his love while treating her broken arm. I kinda like this teasing and I would be glad if he just teases her and leaves her blushing and not taunt her. It's about time they show some cute moments and I believe they have already started feeling comfortable around each other and they should not go back to square one and say "chee". That word from Ishita has a jarring effect on everyone I am pretty sure 😆

Priya,
I find Raman Bhala more human.Undoubtedly I am able to relate to him. though of a different gender...

Precap wassizzling I agree. He can do the M&B hero like pin the wall thing with ease it appears. want him to have the upper hand in bed. It will shut her up for once. I see her every where at all other times. I want him to make her speechless, weak in the knees, jittery and dry in the mouth
He does that like a pro

The lack of confrontation/Raman's anger/her apology tells us that this will not be her last mission.

As ominous as that sounds its the truth.

There are people in my husband's family he cannot stand... I don't rant bhashans and coax him to reconcile and patch up. These little nuances make up the building blocks of his personality. I dont want him to be my clone😃

Exactly. I so hope that in the privacy of their bedroom he asks her what was she thinking believing in some stranger who claimed to be his ex lover and calls her out saying as much as she likes being jagga jasoos she is not a good one at that since she is gullible to trust everyone without any solid proof and hence should stop being one to save the pain and trouble to herself and to both of their families 😆 She can then ask him to be more open and honest with her and then should agree to do the same and stop doing the jasoosi. I know I know wishful thinking from my part but she is so not going to change her ways since she is Ishita whose character the CVs will change from smart, intelligent and collected to dense, scatter brained and illogical as and when it suits their needs.

Thanks for reviving the Rajma Idli Daily Rantings - I missed having a place to pen my thoughts.😊
Highlights of today's episode:

1. Mihir/Raj Singh Arora: He is such an understated actor and am glad that he got a chance to shine today. His frustrations, disappointments, insecurities of losing the relationship that he has with Raman, loyalty - everything came to fore today and I actually was in tears watching the scene between him and Raman - it was beautiful to watch the relationship that they share.

2. Raman - Words are not enough to describe what an amazing actor KP is as it will all fall short. Every emotion was well captured, be it his pain in seeing Mihir's pain, the hesitation of whether the Iyer's will be able to accept Mihir after all that had been revealed, him moving on and his respect for Shagun and understanding her desperations.

3. I loved how Mr. Iyer understood that it would be harder for Mihir if everyone was there to watch the drama that had unfolded and slowly excused himself and the rest of the Iyer family to give Mihir the space he needed. Also, loved to see how the Bhalla's have always thought of Mihir as their own and will stand by him no matter what.

Other than that, I would have loved to see Ishita taking a moment to apologize for the drama that she has created, the extent she went to hurt Mihir (eventhough her intentions were good and that she had done in unknowingly). I also thought that it was necessary for her to apologize to Raman, not because she didn't trust him (it wasn't that he had told her a different story about Sanjana and she decided to go with Sanjana's truth) but for the simple fact that she brought up such personal issues without even confronting him about it.

And I completely agree with you Nisha, Raman is definitely more human, I haven't been able to relate to Ishita's actions because she is becoming too "ideal" and it becomes irritating after a point because that's not how people are 24/7. Some instances it is fine, but not ALL THE TIME.

Precap: Not keeping my expectations high where IshRa is concerned, it will probably turn out to be another one-liner taunt session. And as far as Ashok-Mihir goes, why do I get the feeling that Ashok might put down a condition that he will marry Shagun if Mihir doesn't marry Mihika😕

To Raman's credit he DID actually tell her in so many words "If you would like to be on this mission you can leave" I took huge offence to that how can a husband so casually throw a wife out etc...

He did that AND THEN she brought Sanjana and suspected Sanjana had an affair with him

Its not like he has not yelled at her or warned her

She is custom made and expects her lover boy to be like her as well in order to "shed her Subbu insecurities and begin to love him"

Yes, you can call me Nita (if that's why you have the question mark after my name😊).
I don't see any other reason why Mihir has been brought into the fold where Shagun and Ashok are concerned. And no marriages in telly-land happen without a high-dose of drama, so why would Mihir and Mihika's be any different...

I also think that with Mihir in the picture Ashok might twist Shagun's arm to convince Mihir to make Mihika do things that she would refuse to do for him in the first place. She refused to model that revealing bridal wear remember. Now she would have to think twice before expressing herself since Mihir will be in Ashok's clutches indirectly so to speak. Shagun who is a greatest manipulator will manipulate him for her needs and Ashok will use her to get what he wants with Mihika . Mi-Mi are a cute couple and I don't want this witch Shagun casting her evil eyes on them😡
