Parineeti is a very good actress but this article says exactly what we have been saying on this forum for a while now. She needs to pick more diverse roles, PHs and directors.

She's a good actress otherwise nobody would bother commenting on her body of work in a national newspaper. Katrina, Kareena, etc keep doing flowerpot roles but critics don't seem to mind. Perhaps they have lower expectations.

I think you havent paid much attention to those 100s of articles written by critics expressing their disappointment over Kareena's movie choices.They are always greiving over Kareena not using her full potential,getting wasted in flower pot roles etc..Anyhow is general Kareena is widely regarded as better actress than Parineeti.Kareena had Refugee,Dev,Ashoka Chameli etc at very beginning of her career while Parineeti has none.But yeah Kareena is limiting herself by rejecting the best offers coming her way while Parineeti facing a lack of good opportunities in general

Hope she signs something different. She is a good actress & has tremendous screen presence.Now with the arrival of Aalia,Shraddha,Kriti it's going to be difficult for her. Aalia in Highway,Shraddha in Haider... these girls are doing varied roles. Pari needs to break away from the bubbly girl image.

I love her, and I think she's one of the finest actresses in the younger lot, but even I've got to admit that I'm SICK of her doing the same feisty and high spirited roles. I get it that she wants to perform, which is why she chooses characters that are strong and feisty, but I am sure there must be something out there that allows her to perform as an actor, and is diametrically different from her previous roles.

All said and done, I still love her and am a HUGE fan of hers. That's one thing that ain't changing.
