HTP started the downfall, needs to break away from YRF and avoid so called 'hatke' roles do a love story, action movie, play a flower plot but do something different. She can act all she needs is versatility ...

Totally agree with the article. Even her fan boy Rajeev Masand said she was repeating the same role and act in new film with ARK. She needs to pick different roles before the audience gets bored of her if they are not already. And plus Alia is giving her tough competition. Before ALia...everyone was going ga ga over Pari and Pari only. Now they moved on to Alia.

Two things I disagree with the writer though...why just blame the directors? Blame pari too for acting the same way she acts in all of her films. Also, she was not that great in Ishaqzaade. She was great in SDR...and I agree when he said it was her best performance.

Me thinks Pari plays herslef in all her films since in real life she is bubbly and free spirited too. Her being a natural onscreen is a gift and that is why I like her. But she is not that great of an actress because she is not versatile.

she is very good to watch on screen
acts very well and is very natural
i can only hope, she moves out from YRF banner films
and try some different films away from the rom-com genre
her characters were not exactly same but the genre is
i felt meeta of htp, gayatri and dimple chadda were diff
it was the light hearted romantic comedy genre
that makes one feel she is trapped in the same image.
i want her in thriller film, she'll do really good.

I thought her characters were pretty different from each other and even if they weren't I'd rather watch her films over some others

Her characters have been different IMO and she's lovely to watch on-screen but her journey is just stagnant.

I really wish she'd make better choices 😔 She's my favorite and it sucks knowing she's wasting away her talent because I know she has so much more to offer.

YRF isn't doing her any favours by giving her films like DEI, Kill Dill or whatever if only Karan could offer her a Dharma film but then Alia has that covered 😆

You're right but she needs to (and this is gonna sound so cheesy lol) be her own person and if she's as passionate about acting as I feel she is, she wouldn't limit herself like this. She has rejected some good offers in the past, from what I remember :(

I am a Parineeti Chopra fan amd i feel that she should be a lirtle more diverse in her choice of roles.Her characters are different but there is some elememt which makes them look similar.Don't know what but something.I just found Meeta from HTP totally diiferent.Maybe she should do something totally different from her roles.She is a great actress and shouldn't waste her talent with her choice of roles

Actually, I think Parineeti was quite good in HTP.

She's a good actress otherwise nobody would bother commenting on her body of work in a national newspaper. Katrina, Kareena, etc keep doing flowerpot roles but critics don't seem to mind. Perhaps they have lower expectations.
