So glad to see you here ... I do take 5s here and there ... I don't invite you as they are back to the cotton candy elements 😆I did one for my 10,000th post for Jalal's DEK interaction with Ruqaiyya ... and you would have absolutely disagreed with it.

I am going to do one joint response to your two comments here and hope the quoting tool works effectively:

I think Jalal was totally fine in not showing empathy to Ruquiyya in the DEK ... as there she was not appealing him as a friend but as a Shehenshah ... but she was treating the Shehenshah disrespectfully (And Jalal was seething as well when Jodha saved Khaiber) ...

... what I was proud of Jalal for was he did understand Ruqaiyya's pain in the previous interaction and in personal interactions he continues to do so. It means he forgave her and truly moved on from the fake pregnancy.

I also liked his dialogues after a long time (except the I will give you the kingdom 😆) ... as they were strong after a long time.

The Quran- Githa interaction

I am not the expert in pronunciation ... so I did not observe. I liked it for three things:

-For a change, Jalal's hunar was shown

- He managed to surprise Jodha

- It implied he spent some time chatting with Maan Singh and of course, my Todarmal 😆 and Todarmal told him something other than "Aagya ka palan hogi" 😉 - why the CVs can't show such scenes are beyond me

And yes, saare jahan ek taraf, aur Jodha Begum ek taraf. But that is true of any Balaji heroine I have seen!

Joja my dear, even Rajat's Jalal fell down during the Diwan-e-Khas confrontation with Ruqaiya last night. He repeated his recently patented sneer - mouth half open, lips stretched, and the lower jaw slack - that he had perfected during the Atifa track, and held it, and there was not a hint of any empathy or sympathy for the feelings of his bachpan ki dost, which he should have produced at least for public consumption. In fact there was no subtlety in his take on that scene at all, and Lavina's Ruqaiya walked off with the honours after her last deadly riposte.

Yes, Jalal had a right to be irritated that she had dragged this out in public after his private refusal,but then Jodha did that as well, did she not, in l'affaire Khyber, and in a far more public fashion? Oh, I forgot,she did it for the noblest of motives, to save her unregenerate husband from hellfire for a sin committed during Ramzan (outside the holy month, it would presumably have been all right for her!), whereas Ruqaiya's demand is base and inadmissible as she is doing it for herself !

That Ruqaiya is most unlikely to make an even passable mother, and God save any unfortunate infant left to her care from any lori of hers, is another matter altogether, as is her faking all of this for some inscrutable, cock-eyed purpose of her own. But then she never suffered from an over abundance of brains, did our now non-Begum-e-Khaas.

Incidentally, when was Jodha officially made the new Begum-e-Khaas? Jalal has been babbling about that for the last 2 episodes.

Two bloomers: First, when Jodha got that little cut in her right arm, her arm was on Jalal's right sleeve, well above the wrist, It was nowhere near the shamsheer. I could not make out HOW she got that cut, unless it was from one of gems set in the sleeve or from the zari. Both of them carried on as if it was a war wound!

Next, after Jodha has finished her mini homily about her kartavya, as a wife, to hold her erring spouse to the straight and narrow path, she declares in ringing tones that she would always be with Jalal come what may.

Any normal husband would have taken immediate fright at the prospect and bolted,but not apna Jalal, of course, who is lost in admiration of this paragon who has condescended to grace his existence. He pronounces, in reverentially hushed tones Kaash Bakshi Banu ki bhi aap jaisi soch hoti!

I was taken aback by this strange statement and wanted to tell him Buster, you are all wet ! Why, what else has Bakshi been doing all these months but precisely this, standing by her husband come what may?

Enjoyed reading ur posts....About jo-jalal scenes, i agree with u completely..Anyway it's not new..They can't show a single scene between the leads without any defects..i liked Maham scenes..,and jalal-baby scene..i really don't know ,what Ruk is upto?..i hope she is not planning to kill first baby..it seems so..Anyway why she is here in JJ love story..?? Let her go.i'm more than happy, if dey wil show her shifting to anyother place...Dey can continue with 25 minutes JJ sanskari scenes..😕..
