Rani refused MK and did Mardaani instead. That decision paid off. The movie got a lot more appreciation and made a stronger mark with much less screenings. It's a success and audience chooses (not including Rani or Priyanka fans) Mardaani over Mary Kom. You can easily see that on Twitter and IMDB.

If she wouldn't lose the weight then yeah I absolutely agree. She would definitely not fit in.

But she was offered it. Thats a confirmed thing. Only cause Rani don't say it loud and boast with the offers she refuses like a Kareena Kapoor or someone else (she never does it) that doesn't make it a rumour. When the makers went to Mary Kom with the project, there was Rani as the leading lady.

Of course it's like you said. As you can see I didn't mention it without a reason. I just wrote Ranis decision worked for her this time. Later someone asked me for clarification and I answered. Thats it. So chill..

Whatever it is...finally Vidya and Kangana remain the toppers despite having no starpower compared to Kareena or PC.

No big issue, both are completely different films...
