Shah Rukh Khan's SLAM tour in US will cover the entire cost of Happy New Year's Production

One doesn't know what Shah Rukh Khan means by saying he doesn't understand money. If he doesn't "understand" money, how does he have more of it than anyone else including the other Khan superstars?

The latest proof of Shah Rukh Khan's entrepreneurial spirit is the whopping eye-popping mind-numbing deal that he has cut for his 'SLAM' concert tours in the US and Canada.

Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan's company Red Chillies will walk home from each of the 11 shows in the US and Canada with 1.2 million dollars.

The ticket prices in the US concerts range from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 45,000 and more.Many NRIs, who are huge fans of Shah Rukh Khan, are reeling under the impact of the prohibitive ticket prices.

A source from the US closely associated with the organizers of the SLAM tour says, "Shah Rukh Khan gets 1.2 million dollars per show. This is his takeaway fee for every concert in the SLAM tour exclusive of all other expenses pertaining to the concerts. If we calculate the total amount, he takes home from the 11 concerts; Shah Rukh Khan will cover the cost of production of his film Happy New Year from the concerts itself. 1.2 million dollars from each show and there are total 11 shows. Which means 1.2m * 11 which equals to 13.2m dollars. He will earn around 80cr rupees from the slam tour.

He wud rathet do commercials for fake abs and he make that kindaa money in no time. Why waste the abs and 2 left feets?

Also he is hosting a private dinner in most cities after the tour for around 50 people who pay $5000 to attend it.

I am definitely missing the slam concert..the event will be on 10 minutes away from my house in the same school theater that I used to attend a few years ago..

I recently attended a concert there.. The seat are nasty.. The place is small.. And just like watching a movie.. It is a theater hall not a concert hall.

Second reason, I could never understand.. What actors do when they say they are performing in a concert...are they going to sing??? Can you imagine ab jr, farah khan, boman Irani singing?? Thanks I have better things to do with that money..if they will be performing and dancing on their songs...play music in the background.. Then they shouldn't call it concert.. Concert is supposed to mean a singer singing and performing with live music..
