I love Nandini man, she's such a compassionate person, even with how mean Manik has been to her, she did not hesitate to bandage him. I don't know if she believed him but I think she did for the very reason that it came from his heart with a lot of intensity and that Manik rather be the " villain" people expect him to be than a vulnerable "hero"
I think, for a second there, she did believe him. She believed his outrage at the accusation. She believed that in that moment, Manik not only felt physical pain at being hurt but his anger at the accusation had some hurt mixed in it. No one likes to be blamed for something they didn't do, specially if the accusation is as big as Nandini was putting it. I think, it was in that moment that she began to "understand" him. But what struck me as the most beautiful, and I am noticing it now, is how Nandini silently sat on the chair and cried. It was not easy for her to do what she did. What must her thought process be then? If she believed that Manik didn't do it that means someone else did. Till now it was only Manik who tormented her and now there is someone else out to hunt and hurt her in the worst possible way. She is just a girl, a young girl of 17. To be going through that constant fear of anticipating the worst...no wonder she breaks down.I don't know if anyone else read the sybolism like I read it, Nandu like the fireflies is meant to bring the light to Manik's darkness, Manik showed his vulnerable side, and the show very nicely dealt with it, instead of Nandu being scared of the dark, its Manik the Monster for whom darkness should be his element who is petrified of it, underneath the rude, horrible facade of Monster Manik is a lonely vulnerable little boy who doesnt like to show his vulnerabilities. Usually in a fairytale we get the princess rescued from the ogre by a handsome prince, but this story is so Shrek-ish, here the princess needs to rescue the ogre from the surrounding darkness and the princess is not afraid of the darkness but rather when she lives in the light, why be afraid of darkness.
Yes, wonderfully put. I did read that symbolism. The night connects them both but whereas Manik started hating the darkness, Nandini took a different turn and found solace in the presence of fireflies. Manik actively stays away from the darkness, Nandini pursues it for the existence of the glowing fireflies which, despite being so tiny, erase the darkness around them gives her hope. The hope that no being is significant. That light can be found in the darkness corner. The fireflies for her are so much..they make so much of what Nandini is. Her belief in the purity and purpose of their existence drives her. She has shaped her personality, the compassionate and optimistic one from her time with the fireflies. It's that compassion which enable her to see the lonely, vulnerable side to Manik; someone she has no hopes of good from. It's that glow of fireflies which she has stored within her which made Manik stare at her in silence like that..Isnt it interesting that Manik and Nandu know a lot about each other, they have shared so much with each other in conversations, from the incidents with Dhruv, to Rishabh's accident, to Manik's fear about darkness and Nandu's love of fireflies and all this when they are yet to start a romance, And that was what the fireflies indicated in the very first episode, no matter how many times they are asked to go to separate paths, Manik and Nandu will always be drawn to each other.Fate has written them together and no matter hat they will always be in each other's space. How else to explain this comfort of talking to each other even as they only slowly getting to even know each other?
Yeah, it is. For two people who supposedly hate each other and would rather never see each others' faces again, their connection grows deeper. No one understands Manik's furious protective nature for Dhruv like Nandini does, for she feels the same for Rishabh. No one but Manik knows what she goes through every day, constantly caring for her brother and keeping up a brave front. The night which connects them may be huge, but what they've built from it now is much bigger. This red string of fate which binds them together is getting stronger day by day.I loved the part once Manik gets out of the storeroom, Alya calls out to him , he glances at her but it is on Nandu that his glance lingers, Anyone get a sense of guilt/apology? I did, not sure I read it right but felt like this doesnt feel right, this Alya and me and a kind of apology to Nandu,
I think it was wonderful and said something on the lines that Manik will not forget what just happened. His walking away came on the heels of them sharing an intimate moment. Them being consciously lost in each others' eyes, them being aware of their proximity and not shying away from it. He didn't go away without stopping. He turned around to seek Nandini and when he looked away from her, his expression said that he acknowledges all that happened and didn't forget it as soon as they were freed from their little 'prison'.Precap, Nandu seems to have understood Monster Manik, Manik is in denial,Alya is insecure(with good reason but it is like routine from her) Dhruv, smirking, smiling, I cant get a read on his emotions with regards to Manik and Nandini, I am seriously perplexed.
Manik ka denial is so him 😆 Nandini having second doubts about her thoughts regarding Manik is so her (after whatever happened specially) Alya ki insecurity is her nature and Dhruv ne theka liya hai to always confuse me so I am not thinking much about Monday in particular 😆 I am excited about how the future is going to play out 😃

The Ishq Bulava sequence has left me in 7th heaven, I loved how the lyrics matched up to their situation .. these 8 hours have changed a lot for them both consciously and unconsciously these two are being aware of each other now more than ever and I am sure this awareness is going to increase day by day after all stuff like this don't disappear..
I am officially Harshad's big fan, the way he said those lines in the end I was like yesss the fun finally begin its about time I want to see what more devilish plans he has in store 😈

This serial will be the death of me , seriously I cannot help but feel all mushy for this . The realness is so beautiful and well executed . I thought I was well over my Indian drama, specially youth ones, phase. But this show is proving me wrong every day! Not only am I in love with the lead couple, I am invested in the story in general and every character is becoming so precious to me. Rare is a show which delivers on all front this wonderfully.
Parth and Niti - take a bow, you guys are fabulous . Directors , Cvs and Music - guys you rock. Someone needs to tell them just how much of a great job they are doing by hitting all the right notes 👏Nandini is such an incredibly compassionate girl , I think even though she seems still confused about the goons truth but it won't matter now, as saw through Manik in his outburst. His anger and his desperation was well understood by her . Her fabric is such that she would nurse anyone even her monster if they are in pain . Such goodness and thankfully it's not a desi serial one which usually makes the heroine docile. The girl has the sense enough to realize when one is in genuine pain and tend to them. And at the same time, she doesn't let her own emotions be run over by anyone and knows that it's alright to break down after going through so much. Not a self-obsessed git but not a self-sacrificing noble idiot either. Real enough to be human. He resisted her coz of his ego and yet she was adamant enough to overrule him. He is letting her have that control on himself because he senses and acknowledges her goodness. Manik's ego is the biggest hurdle for him...and Nandini is beginning to not pay much heed to it and do as she wishes to do for she knows it's the correct thing to do. Manik needs that in his life.I am so so happy they gave no cliched hugs or eye-locks, rather these two sat down and talked . In that darkness Manik laid bare his vulnerability and fear . Like a firefly herself, Nandini radiated and brought that light in his dark world. So much symbolism and such a special scene. A guy who struts around fearlessly felt it easy and comfortable enough to share his deepest secret with her. The ease and the bond these two are cultivating is not Mills and Boons stuff but this is real and healthy. I am seriously in awe at the whole progression of them and the execution of the scene. Till today we didn't get them being the cliched hot n cold couple. When they hated, the hatred was logical and real. When concern was shown, it felt like the right thing to do. When they became aware of their proximity, it was natural to do so. All that has happened to them in the past 31 episodes has led them to this moment, them alone in a dark, locked room and sharing their most deeply rooted feelings. His hatred for the darkness and her love for the light which glows in it. This one scene makes all their past encounters so much more meaningful. You take away even one of them and the impact wouldn't be as profound as we felt it. That is what you call great story telling. They have shared so much with each other that they have this silent , separate bond formulating . This is the foundation of their future equation. When books/love-gurus say that the guy should know the real you- this is what those books mean- both Nandini and Manik are discovering each other . Judging by their behavior today, I get so excited for their future. What direction will their story take place now? They have gone from surface to deep. They are realizing each other's layers. These 8 hours completely changed their equation. What now? What next? What new discovery? Which other obstacle? How will they go from here to the point where it's just them again. The bond that they forged by barring themselves emotionally in that locked room, how strong it is to go now?She smiled and it was because he earned it by being real with her. And they didn't even realize the importance of it. There, his ego and her stubbornness wasn't present. In that moment, none of that was there. It was just them and that curve of her lips which came so naturally seeing the real side of him.The rat thing was super funny but the way the makers use their height difference - uff feels. And it's so hinting! Future me I can so see her being hyper about small things and he be all shaking his head and going along with her craziness...sorry, dramaness xDI love how they were lost in each other and the way Manik looks back at her- clearly they both know they shared a moment . Yes please! I'd be devastated if they choose to forget it like it never happened. It has to stay in their subconscious and stays with them when they are all alone.Changing tone - from anger to teasing . Confusion to care . These two are not the same now. They make so much sense now. it's not just the physical chemistry but their emotional bond which seals their fate. That makes them so much the more precious. They won't connect after falling in love, they will fall in love because they connected like this.Precap- Happy to see Nandini understanding Manik . I was expecting Manik to still refuse it , comeon he is not going to confess it infront of Dhruv but his face had that glow. This should be fun - Denial is always fun to watch...because he'd totally be saying something and doing the utter opposite of it 😆
I never gave the song little importance..but now I am murmuring the song 😆 full MaNan effect.
