The judges confuse me more than anything!

One judge says someone is perfectly in sur, while another says he or she is completely besure...how is that possible??😕 how can there be arguments about this...isnt it just a right or wrong situation...either he/she is in sur or not in sur....how can the judges argue about such a thing? are they all listening to different songs?😕😕 this is not even helping the portion audience who doesnt know much about sur and depend on the judges for that understanding...now if the judges are in a conundrum more than half the time, how are we supposed to vote for the best, esp those who dont know much about music??😕😕

Rule no. 1--Never ever ever take alisha's comment on sur into account. She doesn't know much about sur. If alisha and anuji have an argument or if alisha has an argument regarding sur with someone else, the other person is right. You can make that blind assumption and vote.

I guess it also depends on observation. I mean if a judge didn't pick besurapan at certain points then he is oblivious and he thinks that the contestant is in sur.

there were arguments between anuji and javedji, both or whom have good ears for music...how could this happen

Observation. That's all. If a judge didn't decipher at a point that the contestant was off sur then to that judge the contestant was in sur. Also say if the judge hasn't heard the song before he might not be catch as many places where sur was off key vis a vis if he wrote the song or its lyrics, he would know each sur, every harkat, meend, andolan etc. so naturally even if you go hlaf note off key he'd be able to pick it out immediately.

At points like these people should just use their own discretion. If you liked the song ,definitely vote, if you didn't and didn't get the whole judge's ka sur fiasco then forget it.😆

lol but i dont know much about sur or taal or anything...its hard for me to catch those subtleties...so i guess i would have to vote based on who "touched my heart" the most

Anu ji nai Prashant ka insult kiya. i know he didn't sing that well but he was way too harsh. Poor fellow was upset about something, that's why he didn't do his best. Alisha is so wired. i don't know what she's listning to most of the time, maybe she has her i-pod on or something. i usaully go by javed ji's comments. he's very fair most of the time and he's critisisam is also constructive, not demoralising.

yup....judges r always so confuseddddddd 😕 and i dont try to go by their judgement...i just listen n go by my heart 😳
