TOI had exclusively reported how Bollywood actress AmritaRao did a look test for Shashi-SumeetMittal's next for Star Plus.

The show, titled Nikatthu, is said to be loosely based on the hit Govinda and KarismaKapoor-starrer, Raja Babu. While things were almostfinalised, Amrita was replaced and the production house started looking for a new girl. "Amrita looked older than the part," the source had told us then. And now, we can tell you that the production has finally signed the female lead for the show.

The role has gone to ShivaniTomar, who was seen in PavitraRishta. Despite repeated attempts, Shivani didn't revert to our text message.

After reporting about Shivani Tomar, who pipped Bollywood actress Amrita Rao to bag the lead role in producer duo Shashi and Sumeet Mittal's next titled Nikatthu for Star Plus, we have stumbled upon yet another big casting on the show.

According to sources, the male lead has been finalised too. The character, which is similar to that of Bollywood actor Govinda's in Raja Babu, has been bagged by actor Priyanshu Jora of 24 fame. He had played Anil Kapoor's daughter's love interest in the show.
