well in my women's studies class, i remember reading that homosexuality isn't a choice but is biologically deteremined...so dunno about it orignating in america or india...I'm sure in countries more conservative like india, if people are homosexual, its more repressed and hidden, doesn't mean they don't exist...even though I may not agree with their lifestyle, I think it would interesting to see how many actors could actually handle such a role....
