Was that actually jealousy?

Well I definitely think its jealousy, Manik saved Rishabh today and was ready to jump into the pool to save Nandu and was stopped by Alya and of course Dhruv jumping into save her.If he was so bothered by Dhruv saving her, what is Manik doing trying to save her?

Where I think it's too early for Manik to get jealous of just the mere sight of Dhruv-Nandini's togetherness,I do believe there are certain things which makes him feel attracted towards her.
I remember writing somewhere that some feelings are beyond the parameter of time.
May be due to the story of BOF (Since KY2 copying or is inspired by it) it's a known fact that Manik-Nandini are the end game unless we have some Indian tadka in this version...but if we keep all these a side & analyze the character's individually & their equation with each other,you can connect with them n their feelings.

& from where I see Dhruv & Manik, are sailing in the same boat.
Where Dhruv being the quite & silent one,having that instant connection with Nandini who BTW is attracted towards him as well,Manik being the bad guy in Nandini's life whose 1st impression is "Better be forgotten" ,She might not have that instant connection with him but indirectly,Dhruv is being the connection between them & That is quite strong.

It's quite clear that to Manik nothing matter more than Dhruv,Not even Fab.5.That's the one relation he truly cherish & cares for,may be then it's Fab.5.So him being possessive for him is natural & understandable.
Where, to Dhruv,Manik's a friend he can be "Himself" with...now you don't get to see a "Dhruv" who jokes around but with Manik possibilities are there.He's the one person who he let into his shell..- That's kind of bond they share.

With Nandini entering their lives,it somewhat made them unsettled ..where for Dhruv,she's someone who isn't afraid of the Fab.5 & had the guts to stand against them to help others even if that means inviting troubles for herself & For Manik-She's the girl who dares to say "No" to Manik -The almighty,not once but in several occasion & he hates her guts.For him she's a challenge that he'd not like to lose even if it means losing himself.He's that much obsessed with her & There comes the twist..."Dhruv-Rishab connection"
When he's trying to get close to her trying to help his Buddy,here he's struggling between his friendship with Dhruv,(Dhruv's budding closeness with Nandini,His several attempts to save her from "him" from them..be it through words or action )& his challenge, which he had to leave mid way thanks to Aliya.He's not over Nandini..not yet.,They haven't bond,not yet..They just came across their caring sides for those 2 person, for whom they,individually care the most...it's not love,It's not about having those "Feels" it's about that unsettled feelings which one have when something happen to them for which they are not ready & that's what happened when Manik saw Dhruv with Nandini.
It's not about punch nor ego..it's not about her being close to Dhruv & not him..It's about "Dhruv" going away & Nandini being the reason.

Whenever,Dhruv was asked about Nandini..Manik never got a direct ans...
"Don't be too hard on her" - I'll try.
"Ussne mujhe pareshan nahin kiya" - He was shocked to say the least.
"Did you do it on purpose or by mistake?" "Tujhe Kya lagta hain?" -"On purpose"-& Dhruv & Manik expressions were the highlight there.Where no one bothered to go beyond "Oh Manik knew that he did it on purpose,so nice..sweet" that scene spoke more than that actually.
Where one was not ready to confort about it, the other one had more or less hurt&Angry(A li'l) expression plastered on his face..& Today it didn't get any better,his friend lied to him-So that "Unselected " feeling occured again..

My pov though..(I'm not bothering myself by bringing Manik's ragging avater into this analysis,seriously then I'd just down-right reject him + those stuff didn't need a mention here,so .. )

I totally agree. I don't think it's jealousy, I think it's just the fact that Manik used to have full control over Nandini, but now she is free to do whatever she wants. I think he's worried about how Nandini and Dhruv are getting close, because he and Dhruv are supposed to be close, but Dhruv is starting to like Nandini.

Yeah, at first I was thinking it was jealousy. But after watching the epi for a second time (yes, I watch it more than once LOL) I'm more than certain its not quite jealousy.

Everybody seem to have forgotten about the accidental kiss between manik and nadini. That kiss must have triggered something LOL, we don't exactly know how manik felt about the KISS but everything started from that moment on. I think the growing intimacy between Dhruv and Nandini has left him unsettled, confused as to why he is so bothered about Nandu. He needs to figure that out himself.

Dhruv and Manik both went inside for Nandini only. There Manik saw Dhruv and Nandini together and It wasn't a good site for him because He hasn't let anyone come near to Nandini till now but now seeing both of them together, He is definitely jealous. He has developed some care for Nandini coz He almost jumped in pool to save her which old wala Manik would never do.

Plus Asking Dhruv about Nandini, He wants to know about their friendship So here I think He was double jealous. He was jealous because someone else is trying to come close to Nandini and also He was jealous that Why his best buddy is not telling him about this. He doesn't need to be protective about Dhruv because He knows Nandini won't harm him.

So I thing It was jealousy. 😳

I too dont think its jealousy...he is just being protective towards dhruv...

Its definitely jealousy... its very much evident in each scenes.. especially when nandini falls in the pool and dhruv saved her.
