Season 1- Inception of the Great
Episode 1- The day when it all began
People of Magadha Mahajanapada were very happy that day. That day they were celebrating the coming of Vasanta Ritu, perhaps the happiest day of their life, ah well it was for rich atleast.
The roads of Magadha never got crowded like this before. The rumour was that the new king, Emperor Dhanananda was himself coming to greet people. It was a rare and amusing for people as Emperor never really met people in person. He did not like his people as they consider him descendant of a shudra mother.(Mahapadmananda his father, was son of a shudra concubine of king kalasoka.)But he enjoyed respect
among Buddhists and jainas and because of his patronage jains and specially buddhists were spreading their influence both among people and the court. Though more than his religious inclination his taxes and cruel punishments had created chaos. People feared him, they never dare to oppose or attempt for a revolt. Once there was a revolt conspired by Mahamantri Shaktaar and Acharya Chanaka. But he easily crushed the revolt, People were
afraid to help them and nanda surely did not hesitate using his vast military. Nanda badly crushed the revolt and both Shaktaar and Chanak were arrested.As shaktaar's influence and popularity was strong in Magadha he was released but Acharya Chanaka faced a fatal death by several injuries on his head. Nanda spread rumours that Chanak was sent to taxila as punishment for conspiring against him. Shaktaar was sent to exile in Panchala. Now Shaktaar's two sons
Ajay and Shriyak are grown up. Ajay is an Acharya now and runs his own gurukul which is the only gurukul in Magadha because Nanda stopped all gurukuls in Magadha but he let ajay run his gurukul because of brahmin crowd and katyayan, his MahaAmatya who is married to Ajay's sister Suvasini.The alliance was not agreeable to shaktar but his son Shriyak forced him because he wanted to gain favour of Katyayana and by him of Dhanananda.
Nanda is a cruel, ruthless and worthless ruler. He had killed many people just to maintain his power which is giving no protection to Magadha but sacking its charm by heavy taxes.
One person- Suno, suno maharajadhiraja Dhanananda padhaar rahe hain...A huge crowd gathered around him. Suddenly they saw a big Chariot coming towards them. They all started shouting- Maharajadhiraj ki jai ho, Samrat ki jai ho, Maharajadhiraj ki jai ho, Samrat ki jai ho...
DhanaNanda gave sign to his charioteer to stop the chariot...
DhanaNanda to people- AapSabko Vasanta Ustavak ki Bahut Badhai
People-Samrat ki jai ho, Samrat ki jai ho...they all started showering flowers on him...
Suddenly the chariot galloped...
A person- Dekho, hamari samasya sunne aye the, huh, ye sab dhong hota hain. Koi nirdhanon ki nahin sunta.
second person-aur dhanananda se aise apeksha karna bhi vyartha hain.
first person-meri to yahe prarthana hain ke koi aisa shaasak aye jo nirdhano ke samsya sune, unhe samzhe, unka nivaran kare, parantu aisa agle 100 varshon mein hota nahin dikhta.
Second person-aaj ke din to ye saari baatein mat kaho, chalo rajprassad mein aaj nirdhonon ko bhojan aur daan diya jaa raha hain.
first person-haan chalo, pata chala saara bhojan aur daan samapt ho gaya aur hum yahan vilaap karte rahe...
both laughed...
Two Brahmins were getting themselves checked at the gates of Magadha.

Acharya-Rajneeti ka acharya, takshisla ke gurukul mein shikshak hun.

Acharya gave his seal of taxila to him and his identity card.
Officer read that magical name-ACHARYA VISHNUGUPTA, aap pravesh kar sakte hain.
Vishnugupta-Dhanyawaad
Vishnugupta was watching people dancing, enjoying, singing and throwing colors on each other. Vishnugupta got emotional.
Bhadrabhatt(His companion)-Magadha aake aap bahut bhavuk ho gaye hain acharya.
Vishnugupta-Apni Maatrabhoomi laut kar kaun bhavuk nahin hota. He took some soil in his hand and spread it on his head.ah...ye hain param ananda. Meri maa, meri maatrabhumi ka aashirwaad hain ye mitti.
Bhadrabhatt got emotional-Acharya, hamara marga kaun sa hain?
vishnugupta-Marga nahin Bhadrabhatt, ye pucho ki hamara dhyeya kya hain? Dhyeya man mein hon aur atal ho to maarg apne aap hi mil jaata hain.
Bhadrabhatt smiled...
Vishnugupta smiled-Chalo...
Somewhere in Magadha...a cowherd was feeding his cattle. His sister, Mura was preparing food.

Mura-kintu ye uske vishraam ka samaya hain, aur phir rang prasad bhe to jana hain, daan lene.
He started getting irritated- Tum aur tumhara putra, dono ne mere jeevan ko bojh bana diya hain.
Mura had tears in her eyes- aap aisa kyun keh rahe hain..
He shouted-to aur kya kahun, tumhe aur tumhare putra ko paalne mein mera kitna dhan chala jaata hain, meri patni bhe tumse aprasanna hain, tum waapas piplivana chale jao.tumhara putra bhe mere kisi karya ka nahin, gaiya charane se jayada uska rajneeti mein man lagata hain, jab dekho
rajya ko viksit karne ke liye naye naye suzhaav deta rehta hain, Jaise magadha no nanda ke baad use he sambhalana hain...
