Its a good thing raising awareness for a good cause, but can't people just donate?

The challenge was for people either to take the challenge up or Donate but celebs decided to do both!

Donating simply because there are people in need isn't a good enough reason to donate for these people? I despise these dumb "challenges".

They also donate to the ALS charity wen they do the challenge, they do the challenge just to raise awareness and get as many people to donate as possible.

The donations to the charity hav increased a lot ever since this started.
