Actually it was Not ALS organization which started this ALS Ice Bucket Challenge it was Pete Frates . He is Living with ALS and Challenged his friends and Family to either take the ice bucket challenge or donate to His Charity of Choice which is ALS.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! That's the latest craze to grip the web world. Started as a medium to create awareness and fetch donation for the ALS Foundation which uses the money in research for cure of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig's Disease, the challenge has trended worldwide. Bollywood too has had its Ice Bucket moments. Here are a few hotties taking up the challenge.

We being Indian, our love for water and rains knows no bound. Fed upon rain songs featuring our heroines in wet sarees, it was no less a delight to watch Bolly babes dumping icy water on themselves. We can tell you it wasn't an easy task for them, and most of them gave some weird and funny expressions.

The most hilarious of all was Bipasha Basu. Though in bathroom, the lady took the challenge clad in a maxi dress, and was jumping like ping-pong ball after dumping chilled water on herself. Soha Ali Khan took the challenge sportily and did it at a fashion event. She did the task, clad in red saree.

Sonakshi Sinha's video had a suspense factor. The actress took the challenge to show to her fans that it's better to save water and donate rather than getting drenched. We got it Sonakshi, but then we all take bath too. Sunny Leone also accepted the challenge and nominated Yo Yo Honey Singh.

With the world queuing up for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, it was only a matter of time for strip siren Poonam Pandey to take her cue from celebs and cash in on the fad.

The publicity hog has stripped down to a bikini to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but she takes the term quite literally and uses no water, only ice, for the challenge. If that doesn't speak much for her smarts (or lack of it), the hottie also unleashes upon viewers the fakest English accent heard from any celebrity since Mallika Sherawat's interviews with the western media.

In the video posted on YouTube, Poonam Pandey speaks about the two radio jockeys from Red FM who nominated her for the challenge. And whom does she nominate for the further challenge? Believe it or not: Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan.


The video has notched up close to seventy five thousand views within 12 hours, but most of the comments on it are negative.

"This is height of stupidity.. #PoonamPandey taking the #ALSIceBucketChallenge .. I wonder who challenged her, why at all she took the challenge and does she even know the cause at least the full form of ALS," one viewer commented.

The viewers also mocked Poonam Pandey's fake accent.
