Hi all! Hope you're doing well! 🤗
Now, I know many peeps are peeved with Maithili for being rude/icy etc to Myrah over the span of the last few episodes, but I for one find this face of Maithili very refreashing. Why? Because it shows that she cares and over the last 7 years she has seen the hurt and pain Rudra has gone through missing his wife. Over the last 7 years she has seen the face of sweet and innocent Paro through the child she left behind. She is a maasi; and in that spirit she remembers Paro not has Rudra's wife but as her sister.
Let's take a step back and remember another bond of "sisters". Mohini and Mala; where Mohini would go to an extensive length to ensure that Mala's marriage fails and she can get control of the Ranawat Estate.
Then there is Maithili, who is not a sister by blond and technically not even by marriage, but a sister by spirit and love to Paro who realizes that Myrah and her face hurts Rudra- not just direct actions but also in moments of similiarities.
Sometimes, being icy or indifferent isn't meant to spite, it's easily meant to distance oneself and stop from getting attached or bonded. Ever thought that maybe it's not about simply being bitchy, but trying to create boundaries: You're a guest (forced/blackmailed guest but that's beyond the point of logic now LOL) and should you need anything that's fine, let me know. But we're not friends. We're not going to go there. That's PERFECTLY FINE in my eyes. She doesn't need to be smiles and laughs with her. It's a defense mechanism for herself because she can already see Dhruv is getting attached, and not to mention the others as well (Mind you the others, Shat, Sumer, and Mo are only in it for the money LOL)

What I'm trying to say is, Maithili is not the new villian, she's not even close to being a villain.
