Great post once again! 😊

Ok so I'll admit even though it's been a rough journey with Rangrasiya, and I do not like what it has come to, I can't bring myself to regret ever watching...because Rudra and Paro and the original Rangrasiya are a beautiful memory, they gave me something beautiful, that I can't help but feel nostalgia over it. BUT what I do hate is that I'll never be able to rewatch scenes in the same way again, it's like watching a perfect movie and then they have a horrid sequel to it with the same main character and some new girl! And then you just end up pretending like the sequel never existed, but in the end you can't truly forget it existed! (Ok so that was a crap example, but you get what I'm saying right?)...They have tainted Rangrasiya for this washed out, watered down 2.0 version! And in turn have dug them selves into a hole by making a mockery of the love that was Rudra and Paro's (whether that was intentionally or not it doesn't matter, because the damage is done or will be done). However one thing is for sure...I have so much MORE love for the original, so much more respect for the characters and characterizations, so much more value for everything Paro represented, everything she stood for and everything she was was and still is. So much more appreciation and understanding for a love like Rudra and Paro's. So much more value for the inherent culture that was depicted and the original plot lines. Like they say you only really know the TRUE value of something when it's gone and in this case it's Rangrasiya as a whole!

The should have known this would never work, that in the same way that Rudra and Paro cannot exist without each other, the show cannot logically exist without either of them too. There were a million other routes they could have gone down. Heck people in the forum, plus our writers have/ had written and made some brilliant suggestions, anyone of those could have worked- If handled correctly.

You know sometimes there are stories that dont get happy endings...but then the endings are such that everything still feel complete in its total incompleteness.

This part right here is perfect! All of these love stories- incomplete yet so complete! Just like all of the main characters in these movies. Also another movie I can think of that fits perfectly too is Awaarapan- The Emraan Hashmi one! So beautiful. (btw I love all the movies you mentioned- never fail to make me cry)

IMO If they really wanted to go down the route of tragedy and whatnot and considering Rangrasiya's original tagline, I would have accepted it and understood why a tragic ending would have been portrayed...but that's where it should have ended then, that should have been the end to Rangrasiya. But It also should have shown us that despite being incomplete in a physical sense, Rudra will always be complete, mentally and emotionally because Paro lives on in him and Dhruv...Paro is an essence that encompasses his soul, she is a love that can forever be felt, and she lives on eternally in every memory, every emotion, every choice, every smile and every tear. Paro was love and Paro is life- that was/is what she means to Rudra- She is the very definition of love and life for him.

And in the end it pains me to know, this is what it has all comes down to! I guess #suchislife huh

P.S.- You can just call me Monica or Moni, whatever you prefer (same goes for everyone else) 😊 Also like you said we're not trashing the show or being hateful or trying to add negativity, these are just some opinions and feelings by disappointed viewers.

I always had my mind set of watching parud's scenes again and again after this show finishes like i do with her previous show( sorry to bring that up) but I don't think I can anymore. I'm always gonna have paro's death flashbacks and part of me dies inside. I can't think how much I'm connected with this show. Cvs really played very bad and hurtful game with us. 😭

Yes...that's the most unfortunate part of all of this...you will never have the heart to rewatch old episodes

YES YES YES YES YES!!!👏

That's exactly it! RR NEVER got it's due. It can't simply finish or be complete with what drivil is being churned our right now. It's not even a bittersweet ending, because it's just FLAT OUT BITTER!

I really don't know what the ending will be...all I know is that at this point...it will not matter...the damage has been done...the essence has been gone and it will forever leave an nagging effect on you.

I agree RR was such a beautiful story when it started and everyone connected to the show including the story itself never got what it deserved.

A beautiful story it was...alas an unfortunate turn of events and story will now haunt...

Desi soaps are prity risky to get involved in...but RR was something else when it started and those that watched it from the start could not help but get gripped...dont blame yourself.

Moni...nice...Hi...am Shilpa😊

Ok I think I will correct myself...I don't regret watching Rangrasiya...or let's be specific...watching Rudra and Paro's journey...they were beautiful...magnificent...soulful ...rather divine couple. It's like you could believe that they were soulmates meant to be together with divine intervention ...
But yes...I do regret loving everything about the show. There is a difference!! Watching and experiencing without involving part of yourself in it...and the latter is what I didn't do and which is what I regret.

So yes...like you say...you will never be able to rewwatch the original scenes...coz no matter how much you try...you will know that there existed a sequel which trashed everything beautiful in the original.

Tragedy in love stories is nothing new...infact it all the more elevates the love of the couple and leaves profound memories of them but by taking the route they did after killing Paro is what tainted the entire basis of Rangrasiya and that's where it hurts...it pains...

What you wrote @ bold...sums it all up!

That's true RR is gripping. With RR I'm watching some other shows and I don't even bother how the story going and even if I skip 1week I don't even feel I'm missing anything but RR is different, it touched my heart may be because of the actors or the story or both.
All other serials I feel it's acting but RR I feel the characters that is why more heart breaking.
