I don't think my opinion is going to be very popular since everyone is pretty divided - yet again! We always do this to ourselves at the end of every track while the PH is happily laughing away at us 🤓 Wonder if Pari and RT ever read about how much we debate about their portrayals onscreen - wonder what they'd have to say about it!😛
Dang! Just when I thought finally Jodha and Jalal are at an equal plane - so many posts springing up since yesterday - WHO LOVES WHO MORE? 🤔
And I thought they love each other just as much as one another...at this point in time, at least!
Jalal
Oh yeah, I was mighty pissed off with Jalal for uttering those words to Jodha a week ago. Then, I heard/read about all of his twisted plans to save himself, his wives, his babies, his sultanat, his everything.
Imagine a 23 year old young man whose house is surrounded by zombies or dacoits on all sides and his entire family is residing within. He has no one really to trust or watch his back - since most of those he once trusted turned out to be a zombie out to eat his own family. Do you think the emotional stress this guy must be going through is any less than that of his pregnant wife's? I think not!
So, whatever crazy silly reckless plan he's come up with that involves shouting at his wife - as long as his intention for Jodha and his babies are right, I can deal with it. Silly? Yeah! Malicious? Definitely not!
Logic? How many tracks in this serial actually had logic?
Papita or Latifa - what mattered was what happened when his sweetheart went missing. Did we need any more proof? He frantically searched for her over the past two day with not a morsel of food to keep him going, not a pit stop rest for himself or his horse. The immense trust he had on the character of his wife - despite all those ugly words and proofs was telling. His anger was for Jodha's harebrained rescue mission - he had no doubt over her character!
His screaming at Jodha (for whatever reason) was within the four walls of his room - what is important is that he didn't give her up in front of the awaam. His questions to her in the precap was neither OTT nor wrong. It was a valid question.
So, his means might to attain the end result maybe leading through all sorts of questionable and funny paths - but his intent is to protect his wife, family and people!
What more proof of his love for her?
Jodha - She and her rescue missions! Is she really the kind that can be stopped by any amount of extra security?
When matters were already delicate, why not inform the right people at the right time about this Rajvanshi wedding affair? Why not think up this vachan within the 24 hours she had to save Khyber? Why go alone in the middle of the night to save him? She doesn't realize that all of this is leading to tongues wagging about her husband all over the Sultanat, though her intent was never to have him insulted. I do wish that she discussed before taking a decision because even today - good intent or not - we can't intercept our husband's emails to his boss, can we? She really needs to learn! If his words are hurting her inside the four walls of her room, her actions are humiliating him in front of the whole praja - though again, this is not her intent.
She is hurt by his words. They have had no time to discuss and Jalal doesn't seem to want to share his plans with her! I understand that everything that happened after the kidnapping was again silly and some parts of it were out of her hands. I thought she'd given up on Jalal in just one conversation and watching one scene. Thankfully though, when it came to matter of life and death she trusts no one else with it. She has faith in no one else. She knows he will be there for her. Her faith in him isn't gone.
What really touched me was at the point when she'd had enough of Khyber and wanted to return to Jalal. She was sure he'd come for her. She didn't remember his last words about no mohabbat and all - all it was, was that she knew he'd be there for her. That is true love!😛
Silly female had no idea of the repercussions of her reckless actions. Her expressions after he'd just hoisted her up from that cliff - were like those of a child who'd gone out to play in the park but got lost for 2 days, unaware of the effect it had on everyone else! Just happy to be back with it's family.
Her expressions spoke of a sad 'Relief' 😭
His expressions spoke of a disappointed 'Relief' 😛
Both of them are flawed, both young, both crazy, both bull-headed. One impulsive in his own ways and the other impulsive in her own ways. Both have different ways to show their love for one another. She is never going to be as passionate/romantic as him. He is always going to shout at her when he is stressed. She will do things for him what SHE thinks is right. He will let her get away with most - and when finally cornered against a wall is going to get all worked up about it. But then, isn't this just a blown up dramatized version of many normal couples today? 😆
At the end of the day - all that matters is the underlying intentions of both Jodha and Jalal for one another are at the right place - only the means to achieve them a bit ... er... mental! 😆
Our Akbar and HK weren't like this... but THIS Jodha and this Jalal are! You can hate them, love them - but you can't ignore them 😉
