Hi, Lashy. Agree completely. Jallu loves his Jodha & Jodha also definitely loves her Jallu, though both have their own different way to show it out. And I dunno whether we can ever measure love & say one loves the other more or the other loves less though it might seem like it to outsiders. If Jallu shouts & upbraids Jo for a mistake she does that doesnt make him a serial abuser nor does Jodha become a controlling know-it-all just because she advises Jallu when he s going wrong. Marriage is an equal partnership with a lot of give & take on both sides, & mutual understanding & acceptance of the good & the bad.

And as u say , if Jodha feels hurt bcos Jalal shouts at her it doesn't mean Jalal is actually happy shouting at her. Jodha just needs some prodding bcos she mostly forgets to view the bigger picture in her hurry to set right the smaller one. And Jalal will know to tone his temper down too as time goes by , which anyway is just his means to show care & concern for a most loved one.

So I don't think neither Jalal s or Jodha s love for each other need to be questioned when each seem to falter from time to time. Both are young & thankfully though imperfect, but definitely lovably human 😳 . Regarding the Atifa angle, let it play out, then let us comment on it.

Lashy great post! Completely agree! Here is what I posted in Mandy's thread:

Can love only happen between perfect individuals? No ... because no one is perfect.

Hence, I feel two points are confused often ... the faults of the individuals and whether they love each other.

You know I am one of the people who finds the most fault with Jodha ... but all being said that is separate from her love for Jalal. As Jodha-Jalal do not have to be perfect to love each other.

Jalal has impulsive anger ... this is not a Jodha specific thing. We cheered him when he yelled at a "pregnant" Ruq's for smoking hukkah out of concern for her ... but now his anger means he has no love for Jodha? Absolutely not. Anger is a character trait, love is beyond character traits.

Similarly my issue with Jodha is she always has a different set of standards for Jalal vs. the rest of the world. She will trust SD's intentions to save him ... but distrust Jalal's intentions in Amer even after he saves her sister's wedding. But, Jalal likes her for this ... the fact that she is so hard to please in a world ready to please him.

As Lashy always said , "Jalal is the most selfless when it comes to Jodha, and Jodha the most selfish when it comes to Jalal." But, they love each other for exactly that reason and there is nothing we can do about it. (Oh yes Lashy,I quoted you 😆)

The most telling moment- yesterday when Maan Singh talked to Jalal about Jodha Buasa's troublesome helping habit ... the smile when he said "Hum jaante hai Maan Singh" said it all. He loves her for exactly who she is.

For sure, the CVs do injustice to Jodha as she does not express her love for Jalal openly ... for that they won't do any 21st century natkiya rupantar 😆 But, the fact that the love she had given up on supposedly was the one she called out to in the river ...said it all.

Both Jodha and Jalal have their strengths and weaknesses... but they love each other exactly for who they are

wonderful post shradda. i just want to say one thing. why did khyber sacrificed his life??? is it bcoz he loves jodha??? no he didnt sacrificed himself bcoz he loves jodha, he sacrificed himself bcoz of akdha's love. he kidnapped jodha bcoz he felt jodha is not happy with jalal & also he had misunderstood jodha's feeling for him. but in the end he saw jalal-jodha's love for each other. he saw jodha only loves jalal & noone else. he saw how much jalal loves jodha & can even risk his life for jodha. khyber realized tht jodha will be only happy with jalal & to wht extent jalal can go for jodha. in the last scene khyber 1st saw jodha & then saw jalal. he actually saw both. he was sure tht jodha will be happy only with jalal. both jalal & jodha can commit several mistakes & noone is perfect. but the truth is their love for each other is pure & true.

Both of them love each other . For Jalal "love" is a new feeling that he is learning to deal with . Jodha is fiery , self respecting and smart , however this time the shrewd mind is not working at all ( lets think that the pregnancy hormones are on overdrive ). She just timidly bought Jalal's screaming declaration that he loves Atifa at face value . I wonder why she did not dwell deeper into the cause for Jalal's sudden change in heart . All these months we have seen the investigative side of Jodha . Has her love for Jalal made her dull and slow ? CREATIVE team , what are you guys doing ?

Jalal is yet to learn that the more Jodha is pushed around the more she will push back . Whatever the reasons maybe to romance Atifa were , him telling his pregnant wife that he loves another woman is totally unacceptable . That declaration alone was enough to push a normally tough and brave Rajvanshi to consider suicide .

Jodha has to learn the very hard way to stop being Florence Nightingale . I agree that being a Rajvanshi her values of right and wrong are way different from the Mughals , however now she is a Mughal queen and cannot be impulsive . She has to think several times before overriding the shehenshah's decisions . We have to notice the huge culture and ideology clash between the Mughals and Rajputs too .

This is a 16 th century epic romance that we are watching in today's times . I am going to apply the reasoning of today and say that Jalal and Jodha love each other but have not understood each other, are insecure about the stability of the relationship . Both are strong headed , stubborn and egoistic and these qualities are taking them nowhere . The two of them have to work on their relationship . Whatever is wrong for one should also be wrong for the other . They also need to stop taking each other for granted .

I can only give this aong in reply to your fabulous postThey both are wildly in love..So much that even on discordant action leads to a very frantic reaction from another.They always want to be first priority to each other.Jo is jealous of atifa and jallu of kaibarBoth know they are inferior but still they are jealousWe cant share the thing we love most ...This love led jodha to suicide as jalal said he loves atifaAnd jodhas mercy for khyber has made jalal green.Lets see but a very balanced and fabulous post...Cheers...
