i loved the fact that the way Fawad's performance and the writer justified Ashar, because for once even i did not feel like hating or cursing him, moreover, i did wish that girls deserve a husband like him, a friend like him, woman deserve a son like him and daughters deserve a father like him. There are very few people or characters who want to keep everyone satisfied and happy, and in the process ends up at being heartbroken, and Ashar was one of them. Khirad was his weakness, and his own people, his loved ones exploited his weakness and insecurities to satisfy their ego. I loved how Ashar for once never called her characterless, no matter what he believed, but his heart never could go on to that level to even talk bad about her, or curse her, he mourned for years, but once he did not allow anybody to talk crap about her, neither he did, its just he felt that he had laggings thats why his wife chose to betray him,..
Lastly, I am a huge Ashar fan, so i would say men like him rarely exist..
Fawad was outstanding in this show, my fav scenes of him has to be
the ones when he meets sara for the last time begs for forgiveness and tells her that he does not love anybody now, this scene was so heratbreaking. The man asked for forgiveness without any fault of his only because he could never see his loved ones in pain.
The scene where he goes outside and breaks down after knowing the truth and reading khirad's letter, such an amaizng acting by him, the way he banged his head and cried, the guilt, the despairness , everything was so real.
The scene when he actually fee ls the presence of his daughter and goes back and cries, that how he has a daughter and he never had the happiness to be with her or even know that she existed.
The scene with Khirad when she is heartbroken abou hareem's disease and cries helplessly and Ashar cannot help but feel for her, later tells a sleeping khirad that how he fails to stop loving her.
lastly, the confrontation with mother and the dialogue " biwi to dhoka desakti hy, lekin maa tou dhoka nahi diya karti na mummy ? ".. this single dialogue, it was so powerful and intense.
