adi, i think when he saw her first in the hamaam his mind started to think why and from where she is..he knew she is from kabul and that drectly relates to MC..and when the veil flies off from atifa's face the husband is saying what if jalal recognizes her! so there is some mystery there and she is MC's pawn..and then atifa is scared that jalal must have recognized her when she starts singing but jalal pretends to be all mesmerized by her beauty and singing for which she is all amused..and why he is rude to jodha because he knows if jodha gets a slightest hint she will start investigating on her own..i guess adi what u said makes a lot more sense...quite possible and if that happens start preparing for a celebration thread and i will get appetizers and a bottle of wine😉

Makes a lot of sense ...infact I remember while watching the hamam scene I was wondering thst why is jalal looking so horrified and guilty before jodha...seemed a bit OTT for an innocent case of mistaken identity...so he was horror-struck but for reasons far graver than getting caught with a another woman...
Queries:
1.when jalal was drawing atifas potrait he was like a man possessed...that was my instant reaction...why?...and if he was already suspicious of her then why the self talk while drawing her that I cant get her out of my zehen?...cause if jalal is alreafy onto her from the hamam scene itself then he'll know exactly why he cant get her out of his zehen right?
2. After the infamous tansen cocert in DEK, why the self talk by jalal in his hojra about how he is attracted to her and everytime he sees her something happens to him etc...this makes no sense in the context of the TE theory or does it?
3. What was the guarantee that these two assassins parading as refugees would be allowed into Agra palace...as their entry happened quite by chance...that may not have happened...?????
4. Would it not be far easier to arrest her and *force* her to speak...am sure akbar had ways and means of making wannabe assassins spill the beans...some third degree???,,

...also are you trying to say that now that jalal has phasaoed atifa that not only deflects her from jodha but makes her give up on her original plan and maybe even double cross her accomplices as becoming the shahensha's begum(which was not part of the original plan) obviously outweighs everything else...so jalal has led atifa astray and away from her plan by making her fall in love with him??

For me the most convincing g clue was when recently Ruk said - "hamare haram mein Jo chal raha ho aur hamein Khabar na ho, aisa toh ho nahin Sakta" this was proof enough that Kuch aisa hai jiski kisi ko Khabar nahin. Hain, and Jalal's burning stare confirmed my suspicion!
