Alright. So we have these two articles that have come out recently, both predicting the fate of RR.

Many express confusion that these two articles are saying diametrically opposite scenarios. I disagree. They agree with each other. Because the idea is that Colors has not yet decided the time slot for BB, and the time slot depends on RR's TRP, and RR's TRP, in turn, determines RR's future.

What am I saying? The BB time slot is not finalized BECAUSE Colors is watching to see the TRPs of RR for this week and the next and then make their decisions. Raghuvir confirmed this, and the Scrutiny article did as well.

Colors has not yet decided it's BB time slot apparently, and is wavering between the 9-10 pm time slot, and the 10-11 pm time slot. And the decision actually lies on the fate of Rangrasiya.

There are three scenarios [by the way, there's a long post coming up fully addressing my views on Myrah, Paro, and PaRud on the weekend]

A) If TRP drops this week & the next, then Colors will most likely axe RR, and shift BB to it's regular 9-10 pm time slot. RR will end on September 19th, 2014, and BB will begin on September 20th, 2014. And unfortunately, I see the fandom efforts being unheard by the Colors channel if this is the case :'(((.

B) If TRP rises this week & then the next, then Colors will most likely keep RR, and make BB go into the 10-11 pm time slot. RR will continue with it's 1 yr contract till December, and after that, the fate of the show depends on the December TRPs, channel decisions, and us fans.

C) If TRP stays the same, this week and the next, I believe grimly that Colors may toy with both decisions and ultimately may choose axing. I know that people are already tweeting, emailing, and calling Colors to persuade them right now though, so the process of fandom persuasion and fight to keep RR has already begun.

Thanks.so everyone please go to mandir,masjid and church and pray earnestly.lets have RR till December.at least till the contract is over.they deserve that...

It is extremely crucial, unfortunately. I think that this week is crucial. If we see a 0.12-0.2 increase in TRP, I think the morale of the fandom will shoot up, and the channel will give it a fresh chance. On the other hand, a constant TRP is rather grim for our chances, and a dropping TRP ... well, unfortunately, we do bid goodbye to RR, in that case.

Here's to hoping that we rise in TRP and stay afloat. 😳

Everywhere? YES! 😳

Show your love, fandom. Let's prove to Colors, at least by our part, that we believe in our show, and we love RR. The rest is up to Fate, and TRPs.

Precisely. This week's TRPs determine everything for Rangrasiya.

I don't watch the show anymore, but I find it ridiculous that this show is close to getting axed, when most of their other shows are in the same TRP zone despite heavy promotions. It's not like RR is the only show doing poorly. Except for 2 fiction shows, the rest are drowning too, so why this partiality? Paro was killed off, there's a 7 year leap, why do all this just to end it a month later?

Colors is a waste of a channel. Neither does it have backbone or brains in marketing. No wonder it's 3rd or 4th in GECs.
