Because Ira don't want Anshuman to become powerless as no one can see their master getting weak and Anshuman also knows how to handle her. I mean when he scolded for why she always needs to kill humans as their kind is already humiliated for hunting down the mortals. That proves the kind mutual understanding and the relation they shares :-)
