Now that we are done with all the hypes.. it is time to talk about kick... I am hopping that many of you have already watched it.. and will have input in to this crazy topic.

So after watching kick.. I just didn't know how to rate it..don't get me wrong.. unlike bodyguard and ready.. the movie had a plot and story.. I feel like the makers totally killed the story because they wanted some kind of jaw dropping twist.. when in reality if this story was kept simple straight forward... It could have been a lot better instead of jumping back and fort..
here is the summary of kick.. it is about a guy who enjoys taking risk and living the life to the fullest... just like many young people he is in stage of his life where he is not sure what to do... he doesn't want a typical job since he wants a thrill out of everything he does..eventually, he finds out that a kid needs money for operation and he finds the passion for helping needy terminal ill children... that turns him in to devil and thief..
unfortunately, the makers totally forgot the basics of story telling which is beginning, middle and end...This movie was a clusterf**k.. because the beginning should have been the middle.. middle should have been the ending.. and then some part of the middle should have been the beginning...it is the basics of story telling.. so the beginning should have been with salman meeting the girl in Delhi.. then moving story forward in the process with salman finding out about the kid and other kids.. then going forward with the ending which should have been the bus scene..
I would even end the movie with ajay devgn being introduced as the new cop setting up kick 2..
I just don't know who makes these stories anymore.. so much obsession with twists and turns in movies that a straight forward story was just ruined... so at the end I rated the movie 2 out of 5 only for the performances.. not for the plot script and writing..

I loved kick.
Honestly i loved kick more than dabbang which is considered to be Sallu best movie in recent times. I loved dabbang too but kick was amazing to another level. I know story could had been much better but having said that, Salman character had so many shades.

The shades of Devil/Devi made this movie worth watching. Salman was amazing as devil and devil. He potarayed both characters to the perfection.

Action sequences were mind blowing and Randeep Nawaz were amazing.

i have a question to the people who have seen original Kick, is the story exactly the same or did they change it in hindi version?
Especially the part where they showed that Salman became Devil to help kids out, and all that humantarian stuff , was it part of the original?

Caz to me , that's where they lost the plot. I just couldnt sympathize with parents who killed themselves selfishly and cowardily, leaving their poor young daughter behind to fight her battle. That's some bull shit they fed us.

i think it would have been better showing he came devil out of revenge caz he lost his love and now doing good on his own. The background story was weak.

I loved Kick!
It was a funny comedy action!
yes there was not really a script out there! But the purpose of saving these poor kids was a nice way to show! and how he only rob politician!

Overall, I really enjoyed the movie specially the end!

That's so true! 100% Agree with this part! Totally forgot about it! 🥱

What a lame thing to show! Wasn't it better to show they dying by fighting for their kid instead just suicide like coward!
