Hi Prabha,
Sorry just caught up with yesterday's episode!
You have a knack for detail and explain things wonderfully.
Your fans too do not hold back, lovely analysis, recaps from so many of them.
Well, this is what I felt abt the episode.😳
Rudra telling Sumer to back-off and he being the head of the household had some strong valid points, and glad to know he addressed his deceased parents. He is sensitive emotional and to be honest, was given Bahu type dialogues, and I liked it too. 😳
The family members have come a far way, and understand each other, their thoughts, more importantly respect each other.
Myrah self-recording - Does Rohit even read/play her messages? How come we do not have a spoiler for his entry? When Laila, Varun were to enter, it was all over the news (IF)? So I guess maybe they haven't cast the guy, or Shanty 2.0 might be back? They are trying to focus on the leads, but deep down, as a viewer I am interested in what role the US return NRI might have to play. Sanaya looked young, just like a college graduate and her flair for English is portrayed well.
How come she did not take a photograph of Mohini, Rudra, Dhruv, Koel - Guess we need to wait and watch, after all Shaadi hai, so of course there would be loads!😆
She gives a quick recap of all members, and if the Rohit is Shanty 2.0, then Myrah seems to be just updating him with on-goings of the Ranawats😆
Samrat-Mythili-Dhruv scene - They make the perfect guardians for the kid😳 and they have a knack for parenting, it rarely happens in real, unless and until the family is joint one.
I found the new Dhruv's dialogues fall flat, he is a kid, but maybe a bit more clarity would be appreciated. Dhruv understands his Papa quite well -👍🏼
Kakusa and Rudra scene -They have a heart-to-heart talk. I like the clarity they have, the stand they take, and are worried about the effect of Myrah on Dhruv. I would like to see it the other way around - Would Myrah break her shaadi for Dhruv not Rudra, because I do not want Dhruv to be the cupid for his parents, tried and tested method, it would get repetitive. Myrah trying to woo Rudra with Dhruv's help is something I would like to see. 😳 Rudra falling love with someone else is out of the picture. Just the wooing part should garner TRPs I think.
Rudra and Dhruv Scene - Nice bonding, they do share a tender moment, and know each other really well. Something rarely exhibited on Indian Telly. This is where I think RR is unique. The best part is it realistic and one can emotionally connect with the characters.
Morning dining table scene - Love how the kids eat on their own and the mummies too are sitting and not busy only serving food. Koel does have a shatir dimaag of her dadi and bada-sa tractor wala dil of her Papa's. She loves her bhai, Dhruv and Rudra loves Koel for all her attempts.
Oh wow, ek picture ticket ki keemat - Dhruv's smile and when one looks closely at Rudra smile, gleam you can notice how it is more of Ashish and not Rudra doing the talking. He is having a blast with the kids on the shoot - Very evident.
Myrah's aunty's re-entry - She is sweet and has a nice timing, interrupt the Ranawats during a meal, rarely do they get to have one, on-screen. Dhruv's face lights up, so he is getting close to her, her presence makes him nostalgic😉!
Okay some bit got muted, and she was in a Palak pose, talk to my hand dude! Mean, but guess he started it.
Don't they lock their front gates, haveli hai - watchman bhi nahi hai?😆
Handing over money to Sumer, like giving a kid lollipop/chips packet - That was mean, direspectful, she could have brought a cheque, or put in a word, cash is on it's way, would be transferred. She did insult Rudra in a way!
Self-inviting herself to a movie - That is what bothers Rudra and he speaks up. 😆
She does know how to be sarcastic, maintain the suspense, demean a moochon wala hero! He is dumb-struck. If this was the Jallad we once knew, he would go - "Aye, ladki kya bake jaa rahi hai, chal, chal, bahar nikal! " Guess Papaism changes ppl!😆 He is deep down at a worse position than Dhruv, that she indeed might be Paro, his haqeeqat.
"Just leave" is all he had to say, why justify, argue, unless and until he thinks she might have an inadvertent affect on him, his family? She is a tourist, needs a Haveli for her Shaadi and has a face similar, characteristics none in match and yet, he is disturbed, from a fictional character's point of view, why?😉
Sanaya whistles, Rudra plays the mouth organ 😲 Love their professionalism!
Why did all of them wait till she completed her insults, barging in, it is their house, they were uncomfortable, they could have forced her out once again, politely. They too like us, are intrigued how Myrah is so unlike their beendhni! 😳
Phone-call scene - Well, when the bell rings, Myrah strolls her suitcase, why? No one to stop her? So the family is chup-chap seeing a bigdi hui ladki get what she needs, no protests, at least until after the call?
Mr Amar Mehra - Cabinet Minister, so Myrah Chachu and Papa are in the Govt - 👏
Rudra's sasural wale work for the Govt just iike him!
Rudra hasn't lost his touch, even though a retired Major, gets to the point.
Okay - Why is Rudra not surprised to know that Myrah is getting married? One can clearly remember Rudra's reaction when Bindi mentioned Paro was getting married. Now, he seems to be disinterested, so I guess Myrah would stop her own Shaadi or not, is something to watch out for.
The Dhamki - Well, of course RR 1.0 and 2.0 had to have a link. Haveli se hi sab kuch shuru hua tha, so why not start the same at the old one back in Chandangrah.. It would be nice to have it back, but practically that is impossible, as per the off-screen segments mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
So the set is the Haveli and the entire story is going to revolve around the current one, we aren't going to get the luscious deserts or the Thakur's haveli etc.. So basically Myrah did force herself not only into a house, but their lives as well. She has a agenda - Experience Rajasthan, until Rohit arrives, and then get married and off to US, correct, her sapno ki duniya. So all this would slowly change when she comes to know the past.
Okay why did he ask the family wale to participate in her Shaadi? If they were going to accommodate her, she could stay and they could be the gracious guests, but why do they need to be the ones involved in her Shaadi, if she is not Paro? She is a guest, would arrange catering, decorations, she has money, why insist the Ranawats participate? Sorry over thinking things, kindly ignore!
Sumer-Myrah scene, shatapdi in the background - Nicely done. Sumer back to his eager self, busy in mehman nawazi and bonding with NRI, he does know how to sell! I liked the lightness of the mood, smooth talk and then the hug😆, no wonder Shatapdi was mad, liked Sumer's reactions, though. 😎 indeed. Why doesn't the same happen between leads, they have to wait 200+ episodes, awkwardness bhi khud sharma jaati hai! 😆 RR is great in this way, they tend to make things realistic.
Myrah's effect on the Ranawats - They all tend to use English slowly-slowly.
Rudra and Myrah confrontation - How is it that within Sumer shares a bond with the stranger, the lead has to come in within seconds after the scene? What if Rudra saw Myrah give Sumer a out-of-blue jhappi! He would go is what we expect 😡, and then well, lets talk abt the scene. Loved how he jerked her, did get to see him back in his Jallad avatar and she quickly lets go and starts lecturing him.
It is like watching a PaRud moment, fastforwarded 10 times faster, their each scene had an intensity, a passion, that what they thought was right, it was hard for an audience to choose sides, they were both that convincing. But for some odd reason, over here, one could easily relate to Rudra. I liked the fiesty Myrah scolding Rudra in Hinglish, but we could see it lacked the spark, the electric feel, we once related, as a viewer. I believe the BG music is something that changes the moods, as in, it has a comic hint and we can see Rudra disinterested and has better things to worry about, until.. She did cross a line, with the wife comment.
She mentioned 3 things 1. Insecure etc.. 2. You are really not my type? Is she hinting something?😉 3. Tumare intentions par doubt ho - She disrespected PaRud as a whole
She acted a bit self-centered and well she would be one in a shock tomm, when Mythili reveals things, according to the Precap.
So I guess Myrah wooing Rudra, seeking forgiveness would be her mission for next Monday at least.
Sumer-Shatapdi manofy scene - It was a good one, they share good chemistry and Sumer seems to be geuninely in love with Koel's mummy! Nice to see them sort out their differences in mere minutes and not episodes ek upar episodes. Hearing him talk abt love, is kind of fun. His SuRo Mahal did die, but this one is waay better. So he did feel she is his Bhabhi, so where was that when, Rudra asked her to marry him for maafi?😆 Koel has her Papa's naughtiness and manipulation wale traits.
I liked the chanchan of Shatapdi's chudiyan, it reminded me of Paro!😳
Rudra the Security Officer instructing - Major the, ab yeh aadatein yunhi thodi na chali jaayengi, rag rag mein basa hai to mandate things, clarify and ensure all is set.
Okay how is it that Rudra took 3-4 months to address Parvathi with her name, but easily uses Myrah's within minutes. 😆
She showed her power and he accepts the same, allow her to stay.
Okay his very mentioning of the fact that Paro is Rudra's wife should be kept a secret, is simply impossible. She is the masti-khor, chubuli, Koel ki badi didi type ladki, tourist, so I think Mythili has to be super smart in hiding things. Rudra on the other hand, needs to handle Dhruv and his so-called mummy wali-feelings!
Loved Mohini with her non-drama wali feelings, jaise ki unhone kuch kiya hi nahi, she looked innocent and wow, we were all reminded of her "jalwe", a wonderful recap of PaRud's journey in our minds.
Dhruv and Koel with their thankh-jhaankh - Okay I was never such a kid, but one cannot generalize that as rude. They are small innocent ones, on the hunt for clues for mummy's Amnesia track, give them a break guys! Kids are curious, inquisitive and if you ask them not to do something, they exactly do that.😆 The cousins bond well, gel well and do know how to act naturally while get answers to their questions. My question is why is Myrah so chill and not being curious, as a guest hi sahi, she too may have loads of questions? Well, that is for today, to find out, how many she has, what are they and do they get answered or not.
Myrah gets along with kids, because, she is a kid by heart, in the end, we all are! 😳
Next week - Myrah finds out about Paro and Rohit arrives and of course ek-aad baar the leads takraayenge ji! 😆
