Though Kareena Kapoor has had an impressive run in Bollywood, the actress still has been missing out on a National Award. While she was hoping to win one for her bold performance in HEROINE, things didn't work out in her favour!
Ask Kareena whether she misses a National Award in her kitty and she justifies, "No. I am not missing a National Award. My husband has a National Award aur uske photo ko dekh ke main bahot khush hoon. It's ok I am fine. And even if it has missed, I am really happy that I have other things that have been there. Opportunity to work with so many people in last 15 years I think that is more of an award. My directors repeat me twice or thrice over, for me that is an award!"
She elaborates further, "I am telling you genuinely from my heart, I have never in my life worked for an award. I am not someone who wants an award. I don't do a particular role thinking this is my ticket to... I don't think even Saif thinks it that way. In fact, when Saif got a call that he is getting an award for HUM TUM he was like really? It is not like planned. It should just happen."
Meanwhile, Kareena is currently gearing up for her next film, Rohit Shetty's SINGHAM RETURNS with Ajay Devgn, which is slated to release on August 15, 2014.
