Correct me if I'm wrong, I read somewhere that the whole point of doing mujhse dosti karoge was because she thought her role was very similar to that of her sister's role in dil toh paagal hai that won her a national award.

Bcz Hritheena very famous so ppl didnt accept the movie

I beleive her. She usually does films for either commercial hits or to shut critics up. Someone who does films for awards doesn't reject Chameli, RL, and Heroine. She rejected many of Madhur's other films too.
